I open my eyes to see that I'm being carried by Shane. It's actually quite snuggly. I'm still tired so I closed them back to rest a little more.
He opens a door and I hear a dog bark. Sounds like Aleri. I'm guessing he brought me home.
I'm placed onto the couch and I open my eyes, taking in my surroundings. Then the thought hits me. Why was I being carried by Shane?
Lena comes into my view and holds up my face. This a little weird. "Your eyes are back to normal." She said.
"There was something wrong with my eyes?" I give her a confused look. Seriously, what happened?
"You mean you dont remember anything that happened in the past 5 hours?"
"No...?" I looked over to Shane whose face went dark after that answer. "The only thing I remember is feeling a whole lot of pain in my neck..." I raised my hand to touch that spot, then flinched away from the pain.
Lena told me to sit still while she ran to the kitchen to get a pair of tweezers. Once she came back, she tilt my head to the side, and handed me a cloth." This might hurt a whole lot, so you'll want to bite on this.
She turned to look at Shane." I'm sorry but I just need to borrow your girlfriend for just one bit. Would you mind going into the kitchen to wait?"
I shook my head at Lena while Shane did as she asked of him.
"Alright then aheh..." That was really awkward. Gosh I really hope this doesn't hurt. It won't be too painful, right?
"Ready?" I nodded, putting the cloth in my mouth.
I closed my eyes bracing myself for the incoming pain.
The moment the tweezers barely touched my neck I screamed internally. I think I did, at least. It was utterly unbearable, but I had to keep still to get whatever was in there out.
"I'm almost done..." She told me, but I knew it was far from that, because it was digging deep.
Oh when I get my hands on Ceria I will-
"Done!" She showed me the small towel with bits of my blood and 3 small black crystal shards in them.
"What the..." I sat there, staring at what lay in Lena's palm.
"Ceria must've planted these inside your neck. Whether it was intentional or not, these tiny crystals had alot of negative effects on you."
"What negative effects?"
She sighed and took my hands in hers. "You don't remember what you did? You went around the city terrorizing the people and putting them in crystal the second their terrified expressions pleased you."
Letting the words sink in, I felt ashamed of myself. How could I do such a thing like this? Did I also go after them? "Did I do the same thing to you two?" I look between Lena and Aleri.
"No, actually you surrounded the whole house in crystal. I think deep down you didn't want to hurt us. " Aleri tells me. I let a tear slip down my cheek as I sniffed a litte.
"I'm really sorry guys." I say with my head down. "I think I need to be alone for a litte."
I get up and walk to the kitchen to get a drink of water. I pick my favourite cup from the cupboard and walk to the fridge to fill it up. I see a figure in the back looking at me. I turn and see Shane leaning against the counter with a sad look on his face.
"Im sorry. I'm sorry about everything." I say to him, but he shakes his head. He comes closer to me and places both of his hands on my shoulders. "I understand that you weren't yourself and I understand that...you have many things going on in your life right now, so there's no need to apologize."
