Chapter 28

Ayeshas POV

Lazy week. Now that uni is over and I'm not going to get a job or go for any interviews till after the wedding I'm bored 24/7.

"Salam appi." Aabira said whilst dropping her school bag on the floor.

"Wsalam." I replied turning my attention back to my phone.

She picked her clothes from the almari and was about to walk into the bathroom when her phone rang.

"Hello... bhai... WHAT!.. how... ok... we will be there..." Said and hung up.

"Hurry Ayesha! Haadiya is admitted in the hospital. Let's go." And in five mins we were sitting in my car and off to the hospital.

We entered the hospital and asked the receptionist for Haadiyas ward number.

We went to the designated room and met with ammi, kaab, appi, bhai, and Daamin.

"How did this happen." When I asked this Kaab dragged me outside the hospital.

"W-what happened?"

"It's that idiot Cemal. He tried to abduct Haadiya outside her uni and when I arrived and saw what he was doing he pushed her into the wall and hit her head. That bastard. That rascal... that..." He fell down to his knees and I could see he was slowly breakingdown.

I made him stand up again and took him to a nearby bench.

"Ayesha... I can't even take care of my little sister. Im hopeless. What kind of a brother am I."

"No Kaab don't cry. Haadiya needs you now."

I said and hugged him to my chest.

After he had calmed down a bit I cupped his face and made him look at me.

"You are strong. You can't breakdown. Haadiya needs you inside right now. You can't cry." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Later on when everyone had left and it was just Aabira and Kaab with me. I went into her ward and looked at her for the last time before I left.

She was lying with a bandage pn her head and wires coming in and out from her hands and arms.

I walked upto her and stroked her hair which had fell out of her dupatta. After setting her dupatta back into place i kissed her forehead and left.

I told Kaab to tell me when she gains consciousness. Then me and Aabira left for home.

Kaabs POV

I jumped into the car, and started to drive to Haadiyas uni. I was super late because boss told me to write the minutes of the meeting and I ummm kinda just was really bored during it and didn't pay any heed to what anyone was saying.

I turned the ignition off once I arrived and got off the car.

Wait is that Haadiya? Who is that guy?

Some person was holding Haadiyas wrist and dragging her somewhere.

He turned around and it was that bloody Cemal.

As soon as he saw me he hit Haadiya into the wall and banged her head.

"You idiot!" I ran after him but he was too quick and jumped into his van and drove off.

I saw Haadiya standing there holding her head. When I reached her she fell unconcious on the ground.

Shit!

I drove to the hospital in lightning speed and didn't care about any road rules.

When the doctor came out after checking her she said it was nothing serious and she just hit head really hard which lead ger to be unconscious.
