Kaabs POV
Today was the rukhsati and honestly I was so nervous. I was worried Ayesha wouldn't like the house. Maybe she didn't like the way we lived. What would I do.
I shook all these thoughts off and grabbed my sherwani and changed into it.
I shaved and trimmed some of my hair and put some jel on it and styled it.Once I was ready I went out of my room and into the kitchen waiting for Haadiya to come out.
"I think I will have to take a hockey stick with me. All those guys staring at you." I said once she did walk out.
"And Ayesha Appi won't be able to take her eyes of you." She said and we both laughed.
"Now hurry up. Don't want to be late to my own wedding."
We drove to Ayeshas house. The function was being held there because they had a huge extra hall that they decided to use and also had a lot of lawn space.
Once we got there ammi (ayesha mum) greeted both of us and Daaem and Daamin also said salam.
"Haadiya beta Ayesha and all her cousins are upstairs. Why don't you go and sit with them." Haadiya agreed and made her way up the stairs.
There was still a bit of time before the function started so I decided to have a look at the hall and lawn.
MashAllah they had more than outdown theselves. There was fabric on the ceiling of the hall hanging in loose waves while the fairylights sparkled giving it an enchanting glow. The theme was mostly blue with creme coloured flowers.
The stage had a nice ring to it, the blue light shining made the couch look all the more elegant
The outside eating area was covered with a white shelter. There were wooden chairs and tables set with big bouquets adorning the set. And a little away on the big oak tree there were colourful ribbons hanging off with all sorts of pictures and a few of me too. Where did they get those from?
