Ebrah
I kissed him.
Ayesha
The police came to our house yesterday. They said that all the clues only lead to one thing. Suicide. Why would abbu do that? What was his reasons? None the less my abbu, my abbu left me and I don't think I will ever be able to live life the same way. There will always be that broken piece in my heart. But still there is something in my heart that's not letting me accept it's suicide. Abbu feared allah a lot. He knew that one dat he will have to face his creator. He couldn't have done suicide. I'm going to prove that to everyone.
Right now I was making cupcakes once again. Ok ok, eating them. I honestly feel really bad for Bhai and Ebrah appi. Waalima is supposed to be a day to remember. But her waalima will only remind her of one thing.
"Appi. I swear if you eat one more cupcake I'm going to send you to rubbish duty." Rubbish duty in our house was worse than detention.
"Ok. Ok. Im sorry. Spmetimes I feel like your my older sister I'm the younger one." I said.
"Yeah yeah what ever. Go get me some sugar." She replied
"Sassy much." I said as I left the kitchen, obviously after handing her the sugar. But not before yelling a few other things to her.
I left the kitchen and when I turned around I hit my head on something hard. "Oweeeee." I said rubbing my head.
I looked up to see Kaab. Kaab!
"You made out of rock or something." I forced the mumour out even though I still felt dead inside.
"Walaikumasalam. Im good. And you." He replied sarcastically.
"Whatever. Are you here for bhais waalima." I asked.
"No. I'm just dressed up for nothing. I mean what better to do than walk around the neighbourhood wearing a sherwani on a Saturday."
He was wearing a blue and golden sherwani which masha allah looked really good on him.
I just shook my head and made my way to the living room to meet Haadiya.
"OMG. You look so beautiful." I complimented Haadiya. "Jazakallah." She replied.
She was wearing a dark blue and pink suit with golden detailing.
Soon the funtion had started and everyone started to enjoy themselves. I spent most of the time with Laiba and Haadiya. They had now become good friends. In the midst of all this I got a text.
Unknown: long time no talk. Huh.
These messages had stopped for a very long time. I almost forgot about them. I ignored it and turned my phone off switching my attention back to the hilarious scene infront of her.
Iba and all Ebrah appis cousins had sat on the couch. They didn't get the chance to do this is on the rukhsati so they took the chance to do it now.
Iba was standing infront of bhai. "Give me money or I'm taking my sister back." She threatened with big eyes. This was hilarious because Daaem bhai was twice as tall as Iba.
"What!" Bhai exclaimed.
"You heard me right." Iba retaliated.
"Ebrah..." bhai whined. "What's wrong with your sister. Do something."
"I'm sorry. You're all alone in this." She said raising her hands as if in surrender.
"Oh. And since we didn't do this in the waalima we want twice as much money." Iba said tapping her foot with one hand on her hip and and looking at her nails and sighing as if she was bored.
"You make me suffer Ebrah. Now you watch what I do to your sister." Bhai saud and slung Iba over his shoulder.
"Put me down!" Iba screamed.
"Does anyone else wants this to happen to them." And everyone ran away. He put Iba down and sat on the couch.
"Oh and Ebrah. I'm still going to get revenge from you after than this." And winked at her.
"Ooooooo." Everyone started teasing Appi.
I love my cousins. Soon the food was served and everyone started to head to the dinner room. I headed to Daamins room. I don't know why he ran off in the middle like that.
Kaab
She looked so pretty. I couldn't help it and sneekily took a photo of her. Her laugh, her smile, everythingabout her is beautiful.
When we bumped into eachother and she put her hands on my chest to save herself, it sent tingles all over my body. And I could her sarcasm was natural. I could see she wasn't in the mood to talk much let alone joke.
Haadiya clicked her fingers infront of my face to get my attention. We had left the function early because she wasn't feeling well. They insisted we stay for dinner but I didn't want Haadiya to get severly sick so I politely rejected.
"Thinking of Ayesha. Huh?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows.
"Ok. Listen Haadiya. Im going to confess something to you."
I said."What?" She asked concerned.
"You were right." I said sighing and rubbimg my forehead.
"About what." She said and put her hands on my shoulders.
"I love Ayesha."
