Kaabs POV
The sun peeped through the white curtain, casting a golden glow on my loves face as she lay on me, her head resting on my chest. Her soft breathing in sync with my heart beats.
I looked at her, her eyes were shut, she was still sleeping. A smile was set on my lips as she stirred in her sleep.
I kissed her head and slowly her eyes fluttered open, like a butterfly's wings ready for it's first flight. Her subtle brown eyes met mine.
"You're awake." I whispred.
"Mm hmm." She hummed and lay her head back on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her slim waist.
And at that moment I just wanted to cry, Ya Allah what good have I done to deserve a gift so precious like her. At that moment I wanted to scream, scream and let the whole world know that this girl right here is my girl.
"Ayesha hun."
"Hmm?"
"I love you." I said
"I love you more." She replied.

Ayeshas POV
I stared at myself in the mirror, I couldn't stop smiling. I felt like there was a permanent blush on my cheeks, a differemt type of sparkle in my eyes. I shook my head and concentrated on getting ready.
I was wearing a flowy navy blue long skirt with a shirt that had a beautiful lace for the sleeves. I wanted to keep it simple so the only jewelry I wore was some small blue pearl earrings and two diamond rings. I put my hair up into a braid that I learnt how to do off Ebrah Appi.
I smiled at myself in the mirror (Don't we all do that) and once I was satisfied with my look I slipped on my flats.
I turned around and got a fright seeing Kaab standing there.
"Ya Allah," I said with a gasp and sighed.
"You scared me." I said whilst chuckling to which he responded by grabbing my waist and pulling me to him.
"That's a nice blush you have put on." He said softly, caressing my cheeks.
"But I didnt put on any blush." I replied. I mentally scolded myself for acting like a shy bride. Come on Ayesha stop acting like a newly wed.
"Well I guess I am just rubbing off on you." He smiled.
"By the way I don't mind if we stay at the hotel, I mean we don't have to go out." He said with mischief written all over his face.
"Well Kaab Darling," I said in a very posh British accent.
"I want to explore this beautiful city, so let's not waste time. Let's go." I was about to walk away when he pulled me back.
"But I don't want to go. How about a little while later." He said with a pout and lay his head in the crook of my neck, planting small kisses.
I placed my hands on his chests in an attempt to push him away.
"Kaab, I told you that tickles." With his head still on my shoulder he started tickling my waist.
"No... no Kaab please stop not again." My giggles were cut off by the ringing of my phone.
He let me go and after taking a few deep breaths I picked up the call.
"Assalam-O-Alykum ammi."
"Walaikumasalam beti, how are you?" Ammi asked, she sounded tired and stressed.
"Alhumdullilah I am good, ammi is everything ok?" After Kaab heard me saying this he came closer and raised and eyebrow. I mouthed I don't know and put it on speaker.
"A-Ayesha I don't know what happened." She stammered.
"Ammi calm down and tell me what happened?" A few seconds later I heard Daamin's voice.
"Daamin, tell me what happened."
"Appi, yesterday when I came home, there was no one here at the time. I walked into the living and, Ya Allah,
He took a breath and carried on.
"And Haadiya was on the floor, unconsious. She had no hijab on her head so I didn't see much but there were scratches on her arms and neck. I immediately called Ebrah Appi." Kaab snatched the phone.
"What, what happened to her! Tell me!" He yelled.
"When she gained conscious again she wouldn't speak, she still isn't talking. Appi, bhai what do we do?"
"We are coming right now." This time I spoke. I hung up and looked at Kaab, he looked back at me, for a few seconds.
"Remember, strong." I whispered.
We packed everything into the suitcases and left hotel in half an hour and in an hour we were at the airport.
"The next flight is in 4 hours." He sat down, rubbing his head.
"Take a nap Kaab, you'll feel better." I said.
"I can't take a nap, Haadiya, something happened to her and I can't sleep not mnowing what happened." He put his head in his hands.
I rubbed his back, trying to soothe him.
What happened to Haadiya. I really hope these 4 hours pass auickly. Ya Allah please don't let it be something serious. There this feeling in the pit of my stomach, it's one of those feelings when you don't know what's coming but you know it is bad.
Kaab eventually fell asleep but the frown marks still didn't leave his forehead.
When the announcement was made to make our way to customs I lightly shook his shoulder.
"Come let's go." For the rest of the trip back home he was quite, he didn't speak and it just made me more nervous of what will happen at home.

"Where is she?! Where is my sister?!" Kaab burst into the house.
"Calm down Kaab." I stood infront of him and stopped him from walking further.
"Calm down, don't yell. Calm down first." I whispered.
"Salam beta." We both turned to see ammi standing there.
"Ammi please tell me where she is"
