Ayeshas POV
"Eeeeeeeeeh!!!!" Me and Gabby squealed. Today was my graduation and I was super excited. It was my dream to become an interior designer.
"Ok girl. Today Imma get you all dolled up." She said and started her magic.
I wore a pink Pakistani styled frock with black and gold detailing. I paired it with a matching earring and necklace set and wore my black heels and glammed them up with a gold anklet. And wow gabriella did such a good job on my hair. It was so slick and smooth.
Me and Gaaby went in her car while the rest of the family came in the other car. I got my black coat and cap and sat down in the reserved seat.
The time I got the certificate was like a dream. I honestly couldn't believe 5 years finally payed off. Everyone was congratulating me and I got so many hugs and kisses. Finally.
While I was walking back to my car with a huge smile plastered on my face someone put their hand on my mouth and pinned me against a wall. When I opened my eyes I couldn't believe who it was.
"Hi beautiful." He said an I blushed redder than red.
"Kaab." It was a mere whisper.
"I'm so proud of you." He said with a genuine smile.
"Thanks." I giggled.
"Ayesha! Where are you?" Aabira yelled.
"I'm sorry. I got to go. Ummm. Allah Hafiz." I said and quickly scrambled away.
"Where were you?" Aabira asked as I joined them.
"Oh nothing. I... uh... just saw a friend." I said trying to sound casual and I think I succeeded.
When we got home I immediately changed into my comfy pjs and prayed isha. I thanked Allah SWT million and million of times. I thanked HIM for all the recent happiness in my life. I thanked HIM for granting me my dream profession.
After prayer I headed downstairs to eat dinner. We were having takeout today so I was super excited. Cmon. It's food.
Later on when I was sitting on my bed, checking my notifications I got a call from Haadiya.
"Salam Haadiya." I greeted.
"Wasalam. Congrats on graduating!"
"Thanks."
"I hope you will be able to attend my graduation. It's in 2 months time. After your wedding."
"Ofcourse I will."
It had been decided that my wedding would be in 1 months time and the waalima a few days later.
After we hung up I snuggled into bed and in no time sleep took over and I was in the world of dreams.
