Eli's POV:

The girl looked up so quickly I thought she would get wiplash. Her eyes grew wide as she saw my face. "Eli?"

I hugged the petite girl. "Where have you been?" I asked when I stepped back.

"Where have you been?!" She nearly yelled at me.

I flinched from the hangover headache and shrugged. "Drunk as shit. Hungover as fuck. Alone as hell." I smiled sadly and put on my new boots.

She laughed without amusement. "What have you been up to?"

"Mostly trying to stay out of trouble, though I'm failing. You?"

Bronze nodded and said "Trying to find a job. I miss our days of being robbers, but I need an easier way to get money."

How had I forgotten that? Bronze and I used to be criminals, and as close as siblings.

"Hey, random question but, do you know anything about the Fountain of youth?"

Bronze looked at me skeptically and nodded. "Yes. It's in the Feary Queen's Forest, guarded by a Saint. Why do you want to know?"

I shrugged but made a mental plan to travel to the Feary Queen's Forest. Smelling something sour and looked over to see a bar unlocked. I walked over with Bronze trailing behind me sighing and mumbling "Really again? He's hungover and he still wants to drink."

We stayed at the bar talking and catching up until night time. By that time, I was absolutely wasted. I was stumbling over my feet and giggling at everything. Bronze walked out to the forest and I stumbled behind her. Why the forest? Because we wanted to spend the night under the stars. I sat down rather hard, probably bruising my ass, and looked up. Bronze was on my right.

"Eli?" She asked. "Why did you ask me about the Fountain of Youth?"

I shrugged. "I don't really remember to be honest."

My mind was really fucking groggy but I remembered that I wanted to become immortal. I want to live forever and see how the world will progress. I looked at my magician friend and sighed.

"Good night Bronze."

I waited until Bronze was asleep and got up, stumbling through the forest.

After about three hours, I came into a clearing and saw a tree with purple leaves and grinned. The Fountain is up there. I know it. I shook my head; it hurt. That was normal though, I suppose. I was still drunk and/or hungover. I leapt up and used a little bit of the wind to boost me up further. I landed at least 100 feet above the ground. I climbed higher to reach the top. When I got there, there was a girl with blonde hair in a white tunic and jeans. And she was glaring at me.

"Hello Elizabeth. Here to kill me are you?"
