20 Years Later

Eli's POV

I woke up and looked around. I appeared to be in a castle. I stood up and stretched. My tunic was cut up and it had what looked like a bullet hole in it. I gasped in pain and held my head.

"What happened?" I said.

My voice sounded weird in my ears, like my vocal chords didn't match up. I went down all the stairs and walked outside. It was almost night and I stood on a hill looking out over a village. When did this get here?

I noticed a figure in the distance and called out: "Bronze!"

The figure turned and I saw a smaller person beside her. Bronze ran up to me.

"Eli! Finally you're awake!"

"How long was I out?"

She dragged her foot back and fourth across the dirt. "20 years."

"Huh."

I looked down at the small child and saw that she had familiar purple eyes.

"Pandora. Lovely to see you again."

Bronze looked down at her child. I crouched down and spread my arms for a hug. She complied.

"I remember everything. Good to see you again." She whispered.

I nodded and stood up. The three of us looked down at the village as the sun was going down. I saw two figures in the dying suns rays. it looked like a girl with something flying around her head. Could they be-?
