Traitors Among Us?

I took a half step back. "This is the second time I've heard of a Feary Queen. Who is she?"

Haven chuckled. "Come with us, and you'll find out. Granted, she wants to kill you, so..."

I looked at her in amazement. "Well sorry to bust your plans hun. But in case you weren't listening, I'm immortal."

Kiwi stepped forward and put her blade against my throat, Strawberry behind her in case I tried to escape.

"You. Are. Coming. With. Us." Kiwi hissed at me through clenched teeth. She used the plants around us to ties my hands behind my back. Strawberry chuckled and dowsed me in ice cold water.

"Gah!Fuck, that's freezing!" I yelled at her. 

I noticed a blob out of my peripheral vision coming closer. It split into three and Red along with Bronze and Pandora burst in front of me. Kiwi ended up getting surprised and released the vines that held my hands together.

"Now it's a fair fight. Do you still want to engage in battle?" Red asked. 

She didn't draw her weapon and looked very smug. Strawberry hissed.

"We'll be back. And with more of our friends. Then, Ginny will be happy."

I froze. Ginny was the Feary Queen? Was that why I couldn't find her?

I snapped out of my daze when Bronze slapped me across the face.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"You were staring off into space. And Pandora asked you a question."

I looked at Pandora who repeated her question. "Who is this Feary Queen, Grace. And how do you know her?"

"Ginny is almost like family. When my father had gone off to war, my mother didn't have enough money to pay her taxes to the royals. They came and locked her away. But she made sure I was hidden. When I ventured out, she was gone. Ginny found me and taught me how to fight and hunt. Why she would want to kill me now, I have no idea."

Everyone nodded and we went over to Erin, Diana, and Naomi.

"We're going to the Feary Queen's Palace. Want to join?" Red asked.

All three smiled and nodded eagerly.

"You will likely get killed. This will be a long journey." Pandora stated. "If you are unsure, then stay behind. We have no use for slackers."

"We're coming." Erin said. "You're not leaving us behind."

Naomi and Diana nodded. "You need us."

"Why?" I asked. I was genuinely curious. "What do you have to offer?"

Erin raised her hand. "I have strength, Naomi has power over rocks, and Diana has power over heat."

I nodded and looked at Red. 

"What do you have?"

Red smiled. "The power to predict what someone else is going to do or say." 

She looked towards Bronze and Pandora. "There's something special about you two. Don't ever leave each others side."

Pandora looked bored while Bronze looked up at her, appalled.

I chuckled and turned on my heels and pointed to the sky. 

"Onward! To the Feary Queen that wants to kill us!"

Everyone cheered and we walked towards the forest.

"But first, we need new clothes!"
