To Kill A Queen

Can She Die?

Erin's POV

I was fighting Kiwi with Red at my back fighting someone else. Kiwi had wide eyes and I wondered what happened. I didn't have time to think about it though because Kiwi thrusted her blade at me. I ducked and pulled Red down with me. She was fighting Nala. Their swords rang together in a screech of metal. Red and I stood up again and I saw Ginny blast Eli through a tower window. I turned to Red.

"Keep these two busy please."

She nodded and I ran through the muddy battlefield. It was still raining and my hair was sticking to my face. It was annoying. I got inside the castle and heard talking. It was on the top floor and there were a lot of stairs. 

I started up and counted all the way. 1...2...3...4...5...

I kept counting and eventually got to the top. I heard one last gunshot and went in. I found the queen standing over a dead and very bloody Eli.

"What the hell happened in here?!" 

Ginny looked at me and pointed the gun at me. I showed my sword.

"That's cute. Never bring a sword to a gun fight."

"True." I said. I threw my sword away and brought out my own fully loaded revolver out.

"I've been dying to use this."

Ginny looked at my gun then at hers. She seemed to realize that she had only one bullet left. She pointed the gun at my chest and I did the same. I shot and the bullet went right where it was supposed to go. She looked down at the blood spilling out and put her hand over it.

"I-I'll be back." She said before falling down. 

I went to the broken window and looked out to the bloody battlefield.

"The queen is dead!" I yelled and my voice rang out. 

Everyone put their weapons down... and cheered.

I smiled.

The queen was dead.
