To Kill A Queen

Bronze's POV

I carried Shadow back to camp while Red carried the four girls. She looked like she was struggling. I looked over to see Pandora dragging Eli along by her arm, her feet dragging in the dirt. I chuckled.

Red looked over at Pandora. "How far away from camp are we?"

Pandora looked at the sky. "We're almost there."

Red nodded and continued carrying her cargo. I looked at Shadow. His eyes were somewhat open.

"Are you awake now?" I asked him.

He nodded and looked up at me all the way.

"Then you're good enough to walk." I said and dropped him on the ground.

"Umph. Ow!" He said. "I'm still weak though. Can I lean on you?"

I thought about it then shrugged. "Yeah. Okay." 

I helped him back up and put his arm around my shoulders. Together we walked back to camp with Eli groaning and Red panting. Yeah. Some group we are.

Glass was still drawing in the dirt but when we came back, she saw the four girls tied up and Shadow leaning on me.

"Let them go. Now." She said in a voice I had never heard from her before. She sounded... angry.

"Gladly." Red said and put them on the ground. Blair and Jean came over.

"Glass do you know these people?" Blair asked.

Glass nodded as they started to stir. She knelt down beside them.

"Are you all okay?"

Nala looked up at Glass and glared at her.

"Traitor." She hissed. 

The others joined in and soon it was a chorus of the word traitor.

"Wait... hold on. Do you know these guys?" I asked.

Glass nodded, never taking her eyes off of the girls on the ground. She took out her knife and cut the rope holding them captive.

I took out my knife while baring my teeth. "Now, why would you let them go?"

Glass looked up at me, her eyes big behind her glasses. "Because we will see them again soon. And we have no use for prisoners while we are traveling. I know the way from here still."

Blair huffed and turned around, still in pixie form.

I snarled. "I challenge you to a duel, you coward."

She nodded and at that moment, Eli woke up.
