Another Traitor

Moonlight's POV

Blair bowed to the feary. 

"My queen." Blair said with some sarcasm. 

"Do you have anything to report?"

"We are about a day away from here and no one suspects me. Eli is immortal and Glass may be a traitor to us."

The queen nodded. "If you are a day away, then I will see you tomorrow. Be gone."

She flicked her wrist and Blair dissapeared. She turned to me.

"Moonlight. How wonderful to see you here. May I help you with anything child?"

"Child? You look as old as me."

"Why are you here?" She asked.

"I don't really know. But I'll see you tomorrow. Someone is waking me up. Bye."

I awoke to see Red waking me up.

"Can I help you?" I snapped at her.

She was smiling. That's never a good sign.

"Get up lazy ass."

I yawned and got up like she asked.

"Where are we going" I asked her.

"We are going to scout ahead. See if there's another path."

"And why are we doing this in the middle of the night?"

"So we can seem smart. Like we know the area."

I chuckled and shook my head. Smart girl.

We came up to a path where it split in two. One way going left and one way going right.

"Which way do we want to go?" Red asked.

"Ummm... right? I don't know. Let's let the others decide which way they want to go tomorrow."

Red nodded and we turned around. We walked back to the camp where Shadow was waiting for us.

"Why aren't you asleep?" I asked him.

"Foxes don't need a lot of sleep. We're mostly nocturnal. But I should ask you: why aren't you asleep. And where did you two run off to?"

"We were going to scout ahead. You got a problem with that?"

Shadow shook his head and smiled. "Invite me next time. Its been a long time since I've been on a hunt."

Red and I laughed.

"Will do."

We went to go lay down. Red went over by Erin and I went over by Sonic. When I closed my eyes, I didn't dream of the queen again.
