Eli handed me a beer and I took it. We popped ours open and took a sip.

"Ah! Refreshing!" I said.

Eli gave me a weird look.

"Yes? Can I help you?"

Eli shook her head and looked over at Pandora. "Hey, Pandora. Why do you want to kill me?"

I thought back to the village where Erin had almost asked me that same question. I had whispered I'll tell you about it later because I really didn't know and Pandora didn't seem all comfortable discussing that in front of everybody.

"I want to kill all my students. They become to powerful and I'm just not a nice person." She said.

Erin scooted away from her witch mentor while Eli laughed. Eli and Pandora turned to look at something but I had lost interest. I was looking around the trees for a good place to sleep until I saw a black shape dart into the forest. Eli ran after it and I chased after her because why the hell not?

We came into a clearing and saw Haven, Nala, Kiwi, and Strawberry. They drew each of their weapons as Shadow leapt at them. He missed by a few feet and they all looked so confused. I, however, was trying not to laugh.

The girls glared at me and Eli.

"You don't have your friends or witch to save you now. What are you gonna do?" Nala asked.

Eli drew her swords and spun them around, somehow managing not to decapitate me. "I think we're pretty good."

"I think we're pretty good."

The battle began and Haven stalked towards me, her sword dragging behind her. She swung left and right and I dodged, not drawing my weapon. Someone ran into the clearing and-

The battle began and Haven stalked towards me, her sword dragging behind her. She swung left and right and I dodged, not drawing my weapon. Someone ran into the clearing and everyone with a weapon drawn fell down. For some reason Shadow did too. I looked to see who ran in. Pandora and Bronze. I smiled as Bronze went to go check Eli's and Shadow's pulse.

"They're not dead." Pandora stated as if that should be obvious.

"Then why did you-?" Bronze began.

"Because that was the only way to get them to stop fighting without any of us getting hurt."

Pandora looked at Bronze.

"Project Gold Ties."

She nodded and closed her eyes. Gold sprang up from all around her and molded into a rope. It dropped into Pandora's outstretched hand and she tied up the girls that weren't in our group. She turned to me.

"You got these four?"

I nodded and went to go pick them up. I wished I had Erin's strength. That would've made this easier. We started walking back to camp with me trailing behind.

Shadow woke up after a while and Bronze made him walk. Lucky girl. We finally made it back to camp where Glass was still drawing in the dirt. She looked up and I shivered. The girl gave me the creeps. She never seemed to blink.

She saw Shadow leaning on Bronze with his hair covering his eyes and saw me carrying the girls.

"Put them down... now." Glass managed to get out.

"Gladly." I replied at set them down.

Glass went over to Nala.

"Are you all okay? You're not hurt?"

Nala opened her eyes and looked at her.

"Traitor." She hissed.

She woke up the others and they joined in. Glass just looked at them confused.

"Glass do you know these people?" Blair asked.

Glass nodded as they started to stir. She knelt down beside them. She took out her knife and cut the rope holding them captive.

Bronze took out her knife while baring her teeth. "Now, why would you let them go?"

Glass looked up at Bronze, her eyes big behind her glasses. "Because we will see them again soon. And we have no use for prisoners while we are traveling."

Bronze snarled. "I challenge you to a duel you coward."

I smiled and whispered: "Things are finally getting interesting."

She nodded and at that moment, Eli woke up.
