The Leading Color

Eli's POV

"Get up lazy ass."

Someone was shaking me awake. I groaned and looked up at the person. It was Red. I sat up and noticed Red had some bags under her eyes.

"Where have you been sneaking off to?"

"What?" 

The question had taken her by surprise.

"Nowhere. Just scouting ahead at night. Last night I went with Moonlight. Shadow saw us."

I nodded and looked around. Bronze was poking Pandora on her cheek. Pandora sat up and glared at her. I held my breath waiting for Pandora to cast a spell o her but instead she just smiled. Bronze laughed and Erin chuckled. She looked over at Red. Red mouthed something to her and she nodded. What the hell just happened?

I stood up and stretched. I looked around. Naomi and Diana were sitting together sharing some berries and Glass and Shadow were talking and every so often one of them would laugh. Sonic and Moonlight were no where to be found and Moonwolf was probably with them gathering food. I remembered that Red had said we were only a days walk from the palace.

"Where did you go last night?" I asked Red.

"Down a path. Moonlight and I found that it splits in two. one going left and one going right. I think that they lead the same way but we didn't investigate."

I nodded and went over to Pandora. 

"Are you ready to head out?"

She looked up and nodded.  She and Bronze stood up. 

"Pack up your shit now! We're moving out in a bit!" Pandora yelled at the group.

Not wanting to disappoint, everybody got busy cleaning and packing up. Pandora turned to Red.

"You're leading to as far as you know."

Red nodded and looked around. Everyone was back from whatever they were doing and ready to go. Pandora nodded to Red and she took the lead with the eleven of us following her.
