This isn't about any of my long distance friends, it's at people in town so don't fret.

But ya know, I love how my best friends, the people who tell me that if my depression hits I can text them bc they're reply right back,

When I do text them about my depression, one takes 2 hours to actually open it (this is on Snapchat btw) then doesn't respond, and one opens it the next morning and doesn't even read it, just looks at the huge paragraph for 5 seconds then leaves me on read. Thanks a lot guys that really fucking makes me feel better.

Maybe I'm just being petty. Maybe not. But I know damn well that when someone makes a promise to always be there when you need them, that the promise should never be broken. Especially in a time where you want nothing more than to end yourself.
