My name is Kristen Montez and i am 16 years old and live in LA, and guess what? I am just ending summer break. (Noo) My life is perfect, I have a boyfriend named Ryan, (which I have been dating for 4 months) my friends which I hang out with all the time, and my pet dog Spencer (male). It was all perfect until one night changed everything.
That night at dinner..
"Thanks for dinner!" I said and started to leave
"Wait!" My dad said
I walked back to him and said "what's up?"
"We need to talk" he said
"Ok." So I sat down next to him in a chair
"We are moving to North Carolina" he said
"What?!" I screamed and stood up.
"No, No this can't be, we just can't!"
"Why?!" I said
"I got an offer on a better job that pays more, and we need the money." He said.
"Well congrats on the job. But isn't there a job closer, you know maybe in the same state?" I said
"No this one is really a good opportunity for us especially after, you know..." He trailed off.
"I know." I said
My mom left me when I was 4 years old and I haven't seen her since.
"Alright good." He gave me a kiss and I went to bed.
