"Me?" I asked, completely surprised.

"Yeah. You were the first to be nice to Greg, and you're my best friend."

"Okay." I breathed, and she looked at me, and arched one of her eye brows.

"Okay to the offer, or just a random word that left your mouth?" She replied.

"I guess I'll accept. I'm just surprised that you want me to." I spoke.

"Mom, you are so important to me. And Greg saw how nervous I was, when I was preparing myself to tell you that I'm getting married, and that I'm pregnant." She spoke, and I sighed.

"Well now I can't back out." I laughed, and she smiled.

"How is Kora doing?" She asked, randomly. I knew it was an attempt to melt away the deep feelings she had just shared.

"She's good. Uh, we are looking into support groups for her, because it's still kinda hard. She is nervous to break the news to your grandparents, and her friends."

"Is Dakota good to her?" Aubrie asked, and I nodded.

"I think so. Now we need to be careful though, because we don't want to say something, and hurt either one of them. Dakota has been more vocal about her sexual preferences, but still."

"I'm honestly surprised that Dad and Kora made up already." She spoke, and I nodded.

"Yeah. I had expected it to take longer, but they are close, and it was gonna happened either now or later."

It seemed like as soon as Aubrie and I had our meeting, we were starting to get closer to the wedding. And more and more stuff kept coming up. Like Elliot and I's Sergeant's exams.

"I'm so tired of studying." I groaned, as I leaned back against the couch, and Elliot threw his notepad on the coffee table, and looked at me.

"We just have a few more days before we have to take this. Then we can just focus on the wedding." He yawned, and I nodded.

"But I hate studying. You know that. It's been something I've hated since high school."

"Yes, and your whining is adorable." He smiled. I looked over at him, and he leaned in and wrapped his arms around my body and kissed me.

We started to make out on the couch, but then our youngest ran down the stairs.

"Momma, I can't sleep!" She cried, and I pulled away from Elliot, and leaned my head against his shoulder, as I looked at Charlie.

"Why can't you sleep, Charlie?" I replied, and she walked over, and pushed her way between me and Elliot, so she was sitting right between us.

"I don't know." She huffed, and her confusion and irritation was pretty cute. Her curls were a mess, and her teddy bear was held in her arms.

"Well, want some warm milk?" Elliot asked, as he gently tugged on one of her dark brown curls, and she shrugged.

"I dunno, Daddy." She replied, and Elliot and I looked at her.

"Is this your attempt at getting out of school tomorrow, Charlotte?" Elliot asked, and she knew we meant business, because we used her real name, and not her nickname.

"Daddy, would I, your Charlie, do that?" She replied, and I knew that sass all too well. All of our children have that sass, and it was cute sometimes, but right now, all I wanted to do was have my husband make out with me.

"Wouldn't put it past you, Charlie." I spoke, and she frowned.

"Can you get me some warm milk then? Then read me another story? Please?" She asked, and I ruffled her curls.

"One or the other, Charlotte." I spoke, and she frowned.

"Milk please, Momma."

I nodded and stood to go make her milk, while Elliot and her talked.

"Daddy, when it Kora coming home?" She asked, and I stopped moving.

"What do you mean, Charlie?" Elliot replied.

"Sissy isn't in bed. She climbed out her window." She replied, and she didn't know that this was actually serious.

I walked out of the kitchen.

"Charlie, go back up to bed. I'll bring you your milk soon. El. Kitchen." I spoke, and my daughter slowly went back upstairs, and Elliot came into the kitchen.

"Kora sneaked out?" I asked, panicked.

"Sounds like it. I knew she seemed off. And she went to bed an hour early. I wonder if she is with Dakota..." He sighed.

"She probably is. Take the milk to Charlie, and I'll track her phone." I spoke, and Elliot frowned.

"Let me go." Elliot replied.

"No. I want to do this. I need to do this. I hate when they sneak out, especially since what happened to Al." I whispered, and he leaned forward and kissed my forehead.

"I'll think of how to ground her." Elliot spoke, and I nodded.

I tracked Kora's phone, and she was at a frat house. This was not how my daughter acts, whatsoever. She is usually the type of girl that wants to spend time at home with our family, and play board games, not go off to a party on a school night, and let alone at a fucking frat house. I pulled up and parked outside, before grabbing my cell, and dialing Elliot's number.

"Hey, coming home?" He asked, as soon as he answer the call.

"She's at a frat house, El."

"What? Why the fuck is she there?" He growled.

"I don't know. But if I don't call you in a half hour, send help. Because these are like never ending fucking places." I sighed, and he sighed also.

"Okay."

I hung up and took a deep breath before heading up the path. Solo cups covered the lawn, and near a bush, a girl threw up. She had blonde hair, so I knew it wasn't Kora. I walked into the house, and loud music made me feel my heart pounding in my ears. I looked around, and I saw people grinding on each other, and then as I looked over the place, and pushed past some people, I saw two girls laying on the couch, their eyes closed, and people were drawing on their faces with permanent marker.

"Hey! Stop that!" I yelled, as I pushed through everyone to get to them. They didn't back off, until I pulled them off.

I swore as I saw Kora and Dakota laying there, each had a penis drawn on their faces. Shit.
