"Olivia. Can we talk?" Sharon asked, as I pulled my jacket onto my body.
"I'm kinda busy right now. Why are you even here?" I asked, as I looked over my husband who seemed to be in complete disbelief that my half brother and former mother were here.
"We need to talk to you, Liv. Please just make a few minutes for us." Sharon spoke, and I shook my head.
"I can't. My kid is at the hospital because she broke her nose. Just leave your number with one of the detectives and I'll get back to you." I spoke, before reaching down and grabbing my husband's hand, and walking towards the elevator.
"Okay, I'm kinda shocked to say the least, love." Elliot spoke, as we stepped into the elevator.
"I am too, but I still can't even get close to coming up with any ideas of why they want to talk to me. It's been over 20 years since the last time I talked to them." I huffed, and he frowned.
"Just 'lose' their number." Elliot grinned, and I elbowed him in his side.
"Screw off, Stabler."

Charlie was sleeping when we arrived at the hospital. I reached her and started to caress her soft brown curls, while Elliot talked to the nurse.
"Momma?" Charlie yawned as she sat up. I smiled as I brushed a curl out of her face.
"Hey, my love. I'm sorry about your nose. Does it hurt, baby?" I questioned, and she nodded.
"Yeah, it hurts really bad." She whimpered, and I frowned. I sat on the edge of the bed, before pulling my daughter onto my lap. She held onto me as I rocked her back and forth.
"Okay, loves. They said you can come home right now, Charlie. Why don't we get you something for dinner since you didn't get any tonight." Elliot spoke, and Charlie nodded.
"Can I have some ice cream too, Daddy?" She asked, and Elliot chuckled.
"Of course, my princess. Come on. I'll carry you."

After getting dinner with our youngest, Elliot and I went home. Amanda had sent me the numbers of Simon and Sharon, but I didn't know if I wanted to contact them. I didn't know if I wanted to see what may be the cause of them finally contacting me after over 20 years of silence.
My home life before the whole 'rapist adopting his own spawn' thing happened, wasn't great and neither was my home life after. My father almost killed me, and the scars on my stomach and my arms and legs prove that. I don't know if they want to dredge it up again and cause more damage on my life. But now, there is more kids to think about. Sharon and Simon have only met Aubrie, but they never met the rest of my children.
"Olivia, what are you thinking about?" Elliot asked, as he joined me on our back porch, where I had been sitting and thinking. God, thinking always gets me into trouble.
"I'm thinking about Sharon and Simon. I do not want to have them weasle their way into my life again and hurt me family."
"You aren't even worried about yourself, are you?" Elliot asked, as he ran his hand over my back.
"No. I'm not. I know I can fight whatever may come from this." I replied, and he chuckled softly before leaning over and kissing me softly.
"Liv, please just know that whatever they may do, I'll be right here with you." Elliot spoke, and I groaned before standing.
"The kids." I spoke, and he eyed me.
"What about our lovely kids?" He asked.
"How will they react if they find out about how my childhood was? Do you think they'll think of me differently? Not think of me as a strong person anymore, and as a weak one instead." I spoke, and he shook his head.
"You are one of their role models, Liv. Charlie absolutely loves you and everything having to do with you. She insists on sleeping with one of your shirts when you aren't home to put her to bed. And if that doesn't make her feel better, she'll be walking into our room and making me let her sleep on your side of the bed. She makes me give up your pillow that I steal." Elliot laughed, and I smiled softly.
"She's spoiled, Elliot. Calling her princess doesn't help." I spoke, and he shrugged.
"She's my youngest baby. I have to make up for the time where she wasn't in my life. Now, lets go to bed. I was thinking we could have some fun." Elliot spoke, and I shook my head.
"I'm going to call Sharon." I spoke, and his eyes went wide but he nodded.
"Okay. I'll be waiting."

I sat by the firepit in our back yard, as I waited for Sharon to pick up the phone. I didn't want to hear her voice, but I needed to be prepared for what may come from this call.
"Sharon Marsden." She answered, and I bit my lip.
"H-hey, Sharon. It's Liv." I struggled. I was brought back to when Sharon answered my call when I planned to run away. After I found out I was pregnant with Aubrie.
"Liv. Thank you so much for calling me." She replied.
"I'm curious, Sharon. I don't know why all of a sudden you contact me. You didn't even respond to my letter when I sent pictures of my twins after they were born." I breathed.
"We were trying to repair our lives, Olivia. After what your father did, Simon and I had to recover."
"Why do you want to talk? Please. Just tell me."
"It's been 20 years since your father was killed. We want to completely repair our family, and that means we want to have you back in our lives." She spoke, and I bit my lip.
"I'm a mother to 7 kids. I'm a Sergeant at SVU, and I'm a wife. I've lost more than you could ever claim you've lost, because you knew what you were getting yourself into. You knew that Joseph was a monster, and I'm pretty sure you knew that I was adopted, because I saw your signature. Please leave me and my children alone, because I will never be used as a bandage."
