"Olivia, are you ready for court?" Elliot asked, as he walked into our bedroom. I was standing motionless in front of the full length mirror, and I had my brush in hand.

"Olivia?" Elliot questioned, his voice holding concern.

I let my arm fall, and I turned to look at him.

"How long have you been there?" I questioned, slowly.

"Only a few minutes. Are you okay?" He mused.

"Yeah. Uh, let me finish up here. I'll be ready in a few minutes." I replied. I walked back over to my mirror and finished brushing my hair, before working it back into a clip. My husband came towards me, and leaned against the dresser.

"If you aren't up for court today, I'll go."

"Elliot, they are suing me. Not you." I huffed, and he reached out and gently tucked a piece of stray hair behind me ear.

"This is effecting us all, Liv. Just look at our family."

"I know that I'm hurting them all. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to cause this." I frowned, and Elliot sighed.

"I'm going to drop by Aubrie's instead. See how she's feeling." Elliot spoke, his voice full of disgust.

I frowned as he turned to leave, but he stopped.

"You are too busy worrying about yourself, and you aren't focusing on our kids. Kora won't come out of her room, and since they think one of those boys from their school drugged them, Kora can't go back to her school. None of our kids can. Did you notice that I drive them an hour away from their old school, so the possibility that the Landers are anywhere near them is slim?" Elliot spat, and I shook my head.

"Just leave, alright? I'll go to court and I'll get my ass sued for the death of Dakota. Then I'll come back here and try to get our daughter to forgive me, and she won't."

I anxiously sat next to Trevor. He listened to the Landers' lawyer talk to Miranda, and asking if what had happened was anything like Dakota, because right now, they were trying to make it sound like Kora talked Dakota into it, and since she was only 15, I'd be the one charged with the murder.

This all was annoying. It wasn't even close to Kora's fault. She never sneaked out. She was an amazing girl, who always followed the rules. Dakota had gotten in trouble before, and now they were pretending that those weren't her fault either.

"Olivia, will you please step up?" Trevor asked, and I blinked a few times before looking at him. The stand had cleared, and it was now my turn.

I hated this. It was so close to an actual criminal case that I go to on a normal bases, but this time I was the criminal.

I walked towards the witness stand, and sat down. Trevor walked over to me, and stood in front of me.

"Miranda talked about how Kora has always been trouble. Do you want to tell how Kora really is?" He asked, and I nodded slowly.

"Yes." I croaked out, before looking down at my hands.

Here goes nothing.

"Kora has always been a sweetheart. She had a rough start, because she had been kidnapped from us when she was still an infant. But whenever anything hard came her way, she fought it like her father does. She has never did anything wrong. She has never gotten in trouble, or sneaked out. She loved Dakota so much, and would never want her to get in trouble, but she did before she met my daughter."

"Mrs. Stabler, how much do you know about Dakota?" Trevor asked.

"I know that Kora really helped her change. She had been on a bad streak, but my daughter really got her to turn around." I breathed.

I talked for a bit longer about Kora and Dakota, before we ended court for the day. I got into my car, and sat quietly as I waited for Trevor to tell me that the Landers were gone, before I could leave myself. I wasn't allowed near them, and if the Landers even thought that they saw me, I would be arrested.

As I was waiting, I saw a familiar person walk out, and towards me.

They opened up the door to my car, and climbed in.

"How are you doing?" Alex asked, and I sighed.

"Nice to see you too, Cabot." I sighed.

"Hey. Is that better? Now, how are you?" She asked.

"I'm feeling like a shitty person in general again." I spoke.

"You aren't Olivia. The death of Dakota Landers isn't your fault." She spoke, and I shrugged.

"Well, everything that girl has done is now not her fault. The party that they went to is Kora's fault, but they aren't going to sue her. Only me. This is a big lawsuit too." I croaked.

"How large?" She questioned.

"Well, they valued their daughter at half a million dollars. We could lose the house, and my marriage might be over with." I croaked, as I broke.

"Liv, do you want to go and get drinks?" Alex asked, and I shook my head.

"I have court tomorrow. I can't be drunk. Not even a little hung over."

Alex and I went to my house, and we sat and ate lunch in the backyard. I kept looking up at Kora's window, but the light was still out, and the blackout curtain blocked out any type of light that could possibly get in.

"I bet that she'd talk to me." Alex spoke, and I shook my head.

"She'd never talk to anyone that is close to me. You're like my sister, Alex. She knows that you'd talk to me." She spoke, and then I heard a scream. I jumped up and ran into the house, and Alex was walking with me.

I quickly ran upstairs, and when I walked into the my daughter's room, she looked up at me with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"It hurts!" She sobbed, and I quickly took my sweatshirt off, and walked over to Kora. I wrapped her arm with it, and tried to stop the bleeding.

"Kora, look at me." I spoke, as Alex called the hospital.

"Momma, it hurts! I want it to stop! All of it! I miss my girlfriend!" She sobbed.
