I went outside and ran my hands through my hair as tears streamed down my cheeks. I started to pace, because everything was falling apart. Kora just got back, and now she wants to leave again. Just because I don't want her to be a detective.

I reached into my pocket and pulled my phone out. I dialed Elliot's number, and he picked up after a few rings.

"Hello, Olivia. What's up?" He questioned.

"Did you know that Kora is moving out?" I questioned, as tears continued down my cheeks.

"What?"

"Yeah. Aubrie is helping Kora move out of our house, and into hers." I whispered.

"What the hell?! That is not happening!" He exclaimed, and I swallowed hard.

"Elliot, she hates me because I told her that I didn't want her to become a detective. Now she just wants to leave us behind. What do I do?"

"You just wait till I get there." He replied, and I wiped a tear from my cheek as I sighed.

"Okay, just please hurry. Elliot, I can't deal with this."

Elliot showed up about half an hour later, and the girls were just finishing up putting the boxes in the car. I continued to sit on the back porch, but I could hear my daughters speaking to their father.

"Daddy, I just can't stay here with her anymore." Kora sighed.

"Kora, you are breaking your mother's heart. And Aubrie, you just decide that going behind our backs to do this is the best option? You didn't even ask?" Elliot replied quickly.

"Dad, I don't care about her heart! She just does shit and uses the excuse that she can't take anything more, to keep us here and unhappy. And Aubrie is just helping me out, because she doesn't want me to get depressed again. Just leave us alone, and we'll get out of your hair." Kora spat, and I hung my head and started to cry again.

I pushed my hands against my ears, so I wouldn't hear anymore. I just listened to my breathing, and my heart beating loudly in my eyes.

She was leaving. She might never come back because I had to admit that I didn't like losing my kids. I don't want any of them to grow up, but I guess I must deal with it.

Elliot couldn't talk Kora into staying, and he couldn't talk Aubrie into changing her mind about her sister staying with her.

The next time I saw my daughters and grandchildren was a month later at the open house for Noah, Alison, and Josie.

"Thank you so much, Grandma!" Alison and Josie exclaimed at unison, as Serena presented them with a set of keys to a car they wouldn't have to share with Noah now. Noah's car was one of Elliot's old ones, and wasn't gonna last him long anyway.

"Well, since you are both going to Cornell, that a car would help." Serena smiled, before hugging her granddaughters, and then pushing them in the direction of Ron, so they could thank him too.

"So, Mom, gonna give me a car?" Noah asked, as he walked over to me, and draped his arm over my shoulders.

"Nice try there, Noah. You are keeping the car you have now, and we can figure something out once you get back from basic training." I replied, and he nodded.

"Sounds fair. But, can I have maybe a twenty to top off my gas tank?" He questioned, and I smiled at him.

"Ask your father. Uh, but before you do, have you seen Aubrie or Kora yet?" I mused.

"No. I did see Greg and the kids through. They are over by Grandma Bernie." He spoke, as he pointed across the yard. I saw where he was pointing, and I took a slow breath before heading over there, but I stopped when I saw Aubrie and Kora join them.

Now what do I do?"

"Just wait and see what happens." My husband breathed, as he walked over to me, and wrapped his arms around my body.

"I want to see my daughters. My grandkids. Elliot, I can't wait any longer. Like, I guess this is all my fault." I sighed.

"Trying to be protective isn't your fault, it's part of your nature. Now, Liv, just go get something to drink,  and talk to some of our family." He spoke, before placing a soft kiss on my neck.

"If you insist."

After a few more hours, the party was over, and I was helping my husband clean up the mess that was left after the party. We could still hear our kids laughing inside my parent's house, but we didn't know what they were laughing about.

"Want to just leave right now? Leave the kids here and go home and spend some time together?" Elliot asked, as I balled up the plastic table clothes, so we could throw them away.

"Elliot, we need to finish up here, then I have to go home and make sure that I have everything to make Noah's favorite breakfast, before he leaves for basic training tomorrow."

"Oh shit, that's right." Elliot sighed, and I looked over at him.

"You're gonna miss him, aren't you?" I questioned.

"So much. He's my first son, and now he's trying to follow in my footsteps."

"Yet he isn't leaving after having sex with a girl. And he isn't planning on getting a call from that girl telling him that he knocked her up." I teased, and he smiled.

"Speaking of the product of that amazing night..." Elliot trailed off, as he pointed behind me. I turned around and saw Aubrie, and I sighed.

"Uh, we are gonna be leaving soon. Ollie and Meredith are falling asleep. Dad, wanna go say goodbye to them?" Aubrie questioned, and Elliot nodded.

"Yeah. Uh, Liv I'll be back soon to help." He spoke, and I nodded.

After my husband went inside, I continued to put items into trash bags, and then I heard Aubrie walk up behind me.

"So, Kora is enrolled in summer school. She's gonna do that all summer, than by next year, she will be graduating." Aubrie spoke, and I just nodded slowly in response.

"She is also seeing a guy that she met during her summer program." She spoke, and I looked at her.

"She's moving on?" I breathed.

"Yeah, and she's happy. She also talked to Grandma and Grandpa Stabler. She told them that she was bisexual, and then introduced her boyfriend to him." She spoke, and I felt like shit.

She didn't even want me knowing anything about this. I was just the person who brought her into the world, and nothing more. Great.
