6. Guardian angel?

She was seated in the very comfortable soft chair in restaurant, she wouldn't be able to afford to eat at, even if she worked like crazy for a year, without stopping. She felt out of it, blinking and looking around the unfamiliar surroundings, knowing that she does not fit in here.

She glanced across the table, where was another thing which made her uncomfortable. She fidgeted in her place, trying to remember how she ended up here. Oh yeah, she was basically dragged over here by a cave man, called Baekhyun.

Actually, she was more than willing to follow him when he said those words in the lobby. The problem was, he didn't utter a syllable since they arrived here and she was slowly losing her patience. His head was still hidden behind the menu. Either he was unable to choose his lunch, or he was just buying some time to think, which was driving her nuts.

And then there was another little issue. They had this private room, with just their table, which made it feel way too much as a date, than she was comfortable with.

"Why did you take me here?" she whispered towards him. He peaked at her from behind his menu, with smiling eyes, causing here heart skip a beat.

"Because it's private," he said simply.

"And I said I don't need to be in a private with you," she hissed back.

"It's compromise, we are in the open restaurant with lots of staff to serve us, it's not that deserted as I wish it would be, but I knew you wouldn't be happy, if I booked this whole place. Don't worry I am not going to take advantage of you," he winked at her, finally placing the menu book on the table. She opened her mouth like a fish, just looking at him, as he is mentally unstable. He just says what he wants... god!

"I didn't mean in like that!" she exclaimed dimly. "You could just tell me in the BBC building, you didn't have to do this," she added to it, turning her head, when the waiter appeared to take their orders. She didn't even have time to look at her menu yet, while Baekhyun has already made his order and the waiter was now looking at her with anticipation. Should she just say Sheperd's pie or...

"She will have the same as me," Baekhyun took over, sending waiter away.

"I didn't want the same thing," she knew she sounded like a little child, but when she is with him, she always feels the urge to argue with him.

"You don't even know what I have ordered," he stated with blank expression.

"I don't care,"

"You should, you are going to eat it," thanks to his smiling eyes, she could see how amused he is by this situation. "I wonder what was it, you wanted to order then," he teased, already suspecting something pathetic. She could feel her cheeks burning, how embarrassed she was, pressing her lips together, not letting a word slip out. He leaned closer to her, resting his elbows on the edge of the table. Corners of his lips slightly lifted up, making her think about, if she liked him more all in Player mode, or in this teasing one. She was discovering so many sides of him the more time she spent in his presence that she was getting confused.

"Tell me," he demanded. Dee lowered her eyes, releasing herself from his chocolate gaze.

"Nothing," she grumbled, earning little chuckle from him. Waiter came to rescue her from this torture, placing something what looked like a perfect masterpiece, in front of her and the same in front of Baekhyun. He stopped pressing her to answer his question and beckon her to start eating. So she lifted her fork and she didn't care, if she choose the right one, to eat this meal with and dove it into her food. After first mouthful, she knew exactly what is it, even though the appearance of the serving, didn't give it away, she peaked at Baekhyun, who didn't start eating, watching her with still amused expression.
