21. New friends

She consumed herself in hard work.

She never was so exhausted before in her life, but she didn't care, even if she was on brink of her life. Or maybe it was thanks to the fact, she was tired all her life. Moving to Korea didn't change that.

She didn't allow herself to think, even though she found it very hard and It didn't matter what she was doing. She still felt her heart painfully squeeze whenever she made a mistake and let her thoughts wander.

She didn't know if she is supposed to be glad, that he left so unexpectedly, not wanting to face her, or if she should let the feeling of sadness take of over her. It wasn't the same sadness, she was so used to, thanks to her father. This was different. This time her deepest feelings got involved, crushing everything. She was cussing herself for opening her mouth at that moment of bliss in his embrace. How stupid she can be. She will never learn.

Well, this was her first heartbreak, but she couldn't stop, even though she was aware of her own feelings for him growing, without her consent. It looks like she will experience a lot of firsts with him.

How funny was that, when she never wanted to have anything to do with this world and now she is too deep in it, that she won't be getting out of this maze anytime soon. Now that she thought about it, she let everything he did, slip so easily and she followed his steps, even before she was aware of that she actually did.

She will never stop being a naïve girl. No matter how stubborn and temperament she is, guess she had a thing for type like Baekhyun.

She wiped the sweat of her face, shaking her head and started over, with performing the moves, Lay told her to practice, during the time, he is gone. She felt lonely though she never had a problem with it before. She was usually okay on her own.

But since she got used to have him and rest of the EXO members constantly around her, now without them in SM building it seemed to be weirdly empty.

She thought of the short message, she got few days ago from him, saying he will be gone for two weeks. That was all. Isn't he one romantic boyfriend? She wanted to slap herself for referring to him as her boyfriend again. His reaction after she confessed, made it clear that there is nothing between them, except her father.

She let out moan full of frustration and started jumping up and down, shaking her limbs in order  to get rid of the stiff feeling in her muscles.

"Ah, sorry I thought this studio is empty," someone's voice made her snap out of her misery. She looked towards the door, seeing a girl standing there, looking all shy. She saw her few times, remembering she was one of the newcomers. According to her bashful expression, she still had no idea what she got herself into.

"No problem, I was finishing anyway," Dee stopped girl from leaving and went grab her own stuff, to let the girl practice on her own. She was about to step out, when the girl spoke to her again.

"Ehm, would you mind if I asked you to stay to tell me, if the dance is alright?" the girl said in bashful voice. Dee's eyebrows shot up, when she heard someone talk to her, all of a sudden. She was so taken back, that she didn't say anything for too long.

"I mean, if you don't have anything else to do... ahh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take your time," she started to apologize and Dee was even more surprised than before.

"Ah I can stay, the thing is... well you know, you saw me dancing, I'm not the right person to judge you," she finally found her voice again, giving that girl smile. She remembered her, being there, when they had a collective practice.
