~~~ EXO - Baby don't cry ~~~
Baekhyun, I like you...
Those words were echoing in his mind, nonstop. Even now sitting in waiting lounge at the airport. He plugged the earphones in, playing the music as loud as possible, to distract himself from thinking at all. But it didn't help. He was staring blankly in the space, other members were giving him side eye, not daring to bother him in way.
You shouldn't, Dawn...
His own response kept repeating itself in his head, making him mad at himself all over again. Why would he say something like this? He remembered the expression on her face, when he crushed her confession with two simple words.
He knew, what she must have been thinking. That he thinks of her as the bridge between him and his payback to her father. It was true partly, he couldn't deny his true motives, especially when she was aware of them too. But that wasn't all.
The main reason he approached her was different.
~
He was left alone in the boys changing room. He was exhausted, thinking it might be better, if he just lies down on the bench and take a nap, before he leaves back to the dormitories. He wasn't happy with his today's performance, he messed up the choreography and almost twisted his ankle. He sat down to check on his feet, but It didn't hurt, so he just forgot about it, slowly taking his clothes off, ready to jump to the shower.
He was relieved, when he stood under the falling water, washing of bit of the weariness. He and his members didn't stop since the debut, it was tiring, but he never felt so happy in his life, than standing on the stage, with his dear friends, performing for all those, who adored them so unconditionally.
All eleven members of EXO became his family, along with every single fan. These thoughts always made him forget the hardships and stumbles in everyday life of idols.
He sighed and went out of the shower room, with towel wrapped around his waist and other one, using to dry his hair. He got almost changed to new clothes, when he heard the main door of the changing area creak. He stopped fixing the belt on his pants, listening to soft rushing steps; it was too late, for someone to be here now. He turned around, feeling the urge to ask who it is, but he stopped half way, when he saw the figure disappearing at the moment behind the wall of lockers, where he heard the person stop in his pace.
Baekhyun held his breath and tried to listen to anything, what is the intruder doing.
"Damn it,"
He widened his eyes, when he heard the cursing coming out from behind the lockers. First thing he realized was, that it is not him but her, who was now in boys changing room. Second one was, that she was cursing in English. He never heard anyone curse this way. He was listening to her rapid breathing, holding his own.
"Don't cry, Dawn..." the girl spoke in Korean this time. He could hear her her stop walking again and then rustling, which sounded like she leaned against the lockers and slid down on the floor. This was the most unusual situation he got into since he was born m, not knowing how to react. Does the girl know she is in boys changing area? Did she get confused? She was speaking English, she is probably not from around here.
"You can't cry..." she said again. He guessed she was talking to herself. He frowned when the meaning of her words got into his confused brain. She let out few more cursed, with shaky voice, when he found himself standing closer to the back side of the lockers she was hiding herself behind, almost leaning his ear to the cold metal of the closets, to hear more from her, completely forgetting about the possibility, she could be creepy stalking fan.
