"Hey you're alive!!" Mike said standing beside me and putting an arm around my shoulder bringing me closer to him.
I hated it when people did this. Pulling me closer Mike whispered in my ear.
"Don't look now but jasper the pervert Cullen is staring you up right now" Mike said as I took a quick glance at jasper but as soon as our eyes met, he looked away and started talking to Emmett. These just something other worldly about the whole Cullen family.
"See told ya not to look" Mike said as he pulled me off into the direction of the coaches, still with his arms around me.
"Hey Bella how you doin'?" Mike rushed us over to Bella and started frietting over her instead, which I was very glad off. I had had quite enough of people being clingy to last me a life time.
"Hey! Ella come sit with us" Jess pulled my arm and dragged me to the back of the bus where angela and Eric seemed to be slightly fawning over each other. I smiled at the two and silently thought about time they got together.
"So I've been thinking and like I totally think us girls should go shopping at the weekend for prom dresses!" Jess said excited and clapping her hands together.
"Actually I'd like to come along I was thinking of staying here a bit longer than planned" I said and jess's smile grew along with Angela's.
"Oh that's great I really wanted your opinion on dress colours anyway besides I think you would suit anything" Angela said as she brought out her camera for the trip.
"Yer I think I might tag along too... There's a book store I want to go to near the dress shop" Jess nodded towards Bella although I don't think she and Bella got on her well there always seemed to be a tense atmosphere when it in involved Bella and Jess. I think it might have something to do with Mike. Just a hunch.
"Hey we're here" Mike stands up and trips as the bus shudders a little bit, finally coming to a stop just outside the green houses.
"Great green house gases and compost" Mike say sarcastically and he dumps his bag on the seat. I leave my bag and gently stand up with Jess and Angela while Mike still dotes on Bella. I look at Bella wink although I know she's practically infatuated with Edward. Bella scoweld back at me and shrugged Mike's arm off earning an 'ohhh' from Eric.
I hopped off the bus and looked around. Bella said she saw the Cullens on the list but she didn't say that she saw the Hales.
I continued watching the other group get off the bus and no jasper at least not yet.
"Hey sorry, I know you were waiting for jasper" I smiled at Bella and side hugged her.
"Its alright, guess I can just wait till Monday next week or something" Bella patted my back and walked off down the greenhouse.
"Ahh a nice cup of compost tea! Don't drink it" I laughed as I saw tyler from my class try to drink it.
I hummed a random tune, looking at an exotic red flower, trying everything to distract myself from thinking about the one thing that I really cared about. Jasper.
Some idiot ran past Me, knocking my shoulders. I lost my footing as the plants had just been watered and the ground had become slippery. I expected to hit the ground but didn't, instead I felt a pair of ice cold arm wrap around my bare torso as my top had risen up slightly.
"You okay?" His voice sent shivers up my spine. Good shivers. I straightened up as soon as I steadied myself and pulled my top back down as jasper let go of my waist.
"I'm fine uh thankyou, are you alright you're freezing?" I notice jasper ball up his fists again as he pondered on how to answer. This conversation was starting to get awkward.
"I'm fine, always cold ma'am" jasper answered forcing a small smile.
We walked side by side for a while, in complete silence. Jaspers posture changed slightly as we passed more people. Jasper folded his arms behind his back holding his hands himself.
"Why did you give me that necklace?" I thought I should just get it over with and ask him, what's the harm in asking anyway?
Jasper visibly stiffened but managed a chuckle. He's been forcing a lot of happiness around me, does he not like me? Do I annoy him?
"I saw you staring at it the other week, I thought you might like it" Jasper looked around at his adopted brothers and sisters.
"Listen Jasper I know that's not the truth, I know you know that's not the truth. I want the truth. I hate it when people lie to me" I said stepping away from him angrily. I really did hate it when people hid things from me like the time mom didn't tell me we were going to see a psychiatrist. It took me weeks to forgive her and I still think about it now.
"Can you not just forget it!?" Jasper whispered to me harshly. I recoiled away from him and pretended to look at some plants.
"Sorry but, have you ever thought, that the truth might just break you... you don't need to know the truth just accept the necklace and let it go" Jasper placed his cold hand on my shoulder but I shrugged it off and he sighed as I turned towards him.
"We shouldn't be friends" Jasper stated sticking his hands in his pockets and looked down at his feet.
"Well it's a good thing that we aren't friends then" I walked away before he could answer and looked for Bella.
"Have you seen Bella?" I asked Angela as she sat next Jess.
