"Lady Lili has just arrived back from her adventures. She may be a while" The servant smiled to me. I nodded.
I was standing outside the water tribes castle, and every one was hurrying about. I had my hood down, standing with the guards and the servant, leaning against the gate. Lady Lili was inside somewhere, and I couldn't help but feel the tention. Why was everyone so nervous?
The servant and I continued to talk, until the front doors slammed open, and a crying Lili appeared.
"Lili?" I asked, leaning away from the wall.
"Azumi... She... It..." She burst into tears as she ran over. I caught her, slumping onto the ground with her as she sobbed into my shoulder. I held her head, studying the doors in front of me.
"What happened?" I whispered to her.
"T-Tetora was injured... And I was too weak and...." she began, before erupting into another wave of sobs.
"Lili, it's okay. Let's go inside for a warm cup of tea, shall we?" I asked softly, pulling her to her feet.
She just cried, as I lifted her up bridal style, which shocked everyone around us. She sobbed into my shoulder as I strode into the castle and into her room, placing her down at the table. I asked a maid to prepare tea and then dragged my chair over beside her, rubbing her back as she cried.
"Tell me everything that happened" I whispered.
So she spent the next hour explaining her 'adventures' in Shisen with Yona and the others. And how they where attacked in their hotel, and how they where leaving for Sensui, in pursuit of the drug dealer of Nadai.
I sighed, leaning back in my seat. That was very like them, delving into danger head first without thinking about the consequences first. Lili was still sniffling, but obviously felt better as she sipped on her tea.
"My father... He wants me to stay in my room... To relax..." She whispered.
"Your not going to, are you?" I smirked. Determination covered her face and she shook her head determinedly.
"No, to be strong like Yona, I must act" She whispered.
"So Tetora and Ayura are unable to help you huh..." I smirked, seeing where this was going.
"It's too risky for you to go along, would it be alright if I tagged along?" I asked, studying her.
"Y-You would? But it'll be dangerous..." She muttered.
"You don't have to worry about me" I smiled.
She nodded, heading over to a secret door. I followed after her, pulling up my hood as we stepped into the mini hallway. Much to my surprise, we stole the gold seal, the most precious jewel in the water tribe. With this, we could go anywhere and control practically anyone.
Princess Yona has really made a positive affect on Lady Lili... I was glad.
We snuck outside, me stealing one of the horses as I helped her up and jumped up after her, taking the reins.
"I assume we are going to Sensui?" I asked. She nodded, leaning against me as I flicked the reins and we shot forward, the only sound was the sound of the hooves clapping against the ground as we rode toward's the center of the nadai smuggling.
~Time skip~
"Great, it's raining..." Lili muttered, dripping wet. I sighed, pulling out an extra cloak I had been saving for Hiro. I passed it to her, dropping it over her shoulder.
"Azumi?" She asked in surprise.
"It we be best to hide your identity until the last second" I said, tightening it around her and pulling the hood up. She nodded.
