"We have decided to visit Fuga. We think that you need the visit" Soo-won said. I blinked in surprise.
"But you're majesty-" I began.
"Soo-won" He corrected. I sighed, shaking my head lightly.
"Soo-won, I'm fine. I promise. You wasted a lot of time looking for me, you need to catch up on your work" I said, already knowing that he was coming with me. Even if we'd had that small fight a couple days earlier, he was still protective over me. I'd be extremely surprised if he let me go alone.
"You're not fine, everyone can tell. You need the break" Soo-won said, stepping closer to me and placed a hand on the line of my jaw. I flinched slightly as he sighed, letting his hand dropped.
"Though you are right. Joo-doh is not impressed in the slightest. I might have to send you alone" He said.
"A horse and I'll be good to go" I insisted, but I could feel my self trembling. He studied me nervously, before sighing and nodding to him self.
"Leave when ever you like" he said.
"Tonight, if you don't mind" I said, bowing.
"Of course, I'll have food prepared for you" he hummed distractedly, walking away. Fuga...
I really did miss that old man.
~Time skip~
It was well into the afternoon, almost evening when I finally arrived at Fuga the next day. My horse climbed up the steps, me sitting atop of him and watching the capital of the wind clan with a dull gaze. I reached the gate and Tae-woo and Han-dae flinched in surprise.
"Who's there?" Han-dae called.
"Could you be any ruder?" Tae-woo scolded.
"Please excuse my sudden visit, the king suggested that I visited" I said, sliding off the horse and pulling off my hood in the same motion. The two stopped dead.
"Azumi...?" They asked in sync.
"Good evening, I hope I'm not interrupting your nap" I smiled, though it was hollow. Han-dae burst into tears and charged me, hugging my tightly. I flinched, blinking in surprise. Tae-woo soon joined us.
"Soo-won reported what you did for us... Thank you, thank you so much..." Han-dae whispered. I smiled, patting their shoulders in turn, keeping my left hand behind my back. We where being watched, I could tell. But I couldn't figure out by who.
"Han-dae, call Mundok. I'll take your horse" Tae-woo ordered.
"And I'll just stand here?" I chuckled.
"Please" Han-dae said, nodding. I smirked, nodding.
"Sure, I don't mind" I hummed. They ran off in their opposite directions and I leaned against the wall, my smile instantly fading. How much had Soo-won told them? And why was the village so energized? Maybe Yona's group had been by? I couldn't be sure, but there was a buzz in the air.
"Azumi..." A familiar voice whispered, snapping me out of my thoughts. Mundok had a tear trailing down his cheek.
"Old man, long time no see" I smiled. I was interrupted by a hug and my eyes went wide.
"Old man...?" I asked. He sunk onto this knees, dragging me along with him while he cried.
"Why? Why did you put your self through so much danger?" He asked. I smiled sadly, knowing what he was referring to. My left hand.
"I owe you, old man. You and Yu-hon taught me everything I know. I can't repay Yu-hon, so I'm repaying you" I said.
"You foolish girl" He scolded, flicking me in the forehead.
