I hummed to my self, striding through the forest.
I was nearing the wind tribe capital, and the woods were starting to become familiar. These where the forests I had run in, hid in, trained in with Mun-dok for years. I knew all the best hiding places, the places to run for a quick escape. A smile shifted across my face as I came to the steps that led into the village.
Once I reached there, I chuckled. I found 2 familiar figures slumped against each other in a deep sleep.
"Han-dae~ Tae-woo~" I whispered in there ear. They both frowned in there sleep and tried to swat me away. I chuckled, leaning back up straight.
"Wait..." They both muttered, their eyes snapping open and slowly turning to me.
"Azumi!" They both cried in surprise.
"Sup" I smirked, placing my hands on my hips.
"Why are you wearing a hood?" Tae-woo asked as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, standing up.
"Because I can" I said, shrugging.
"I want to see your face!" Han-dae complained, running forward and hugging my tightly. I chuckled, hugging him back as Tae-woo run over and pulled my hood off. I winked at him as he began to blush.
"Is Mundok here?" I asked, Han-dae still clinging onto me.
"Yes, I'll take you to him" Tae-woo smiled.
"No fair" Han-dae pouted. I chuckled, ruffling his hair.
"Someone needs to guard the gate, correct?" I chuckled. He continued to pout, but eventually let me go. I gestured for Tae-woo to continue and followed him inside.
It was exactly as I remembered. Peaceful, relaxed, like a large family. It was refreshing to be here.
We strode into the main building, to find Tae-yeon running around and Mundok scolding him. Tae-woo stopped at the door, so I came up beside him, leaning against the door frame.
Mundok sighed, almost childishly and jumped when he noticed us in the doorway. He'd been chasing the boy, and both of them where panting heavily. It didn't take much, obviously.
"Azumi, what a surprise" He panted.
"Sup, old man" I hummed, crossing my arms and studying Tae-yeon.
"Has this generation lost all respect?" He grumbled.
"I'm respecting that your older then me, and an elder. Who is much wiser then me" I smirked, finally meeting eyes with him.
"What did you do now?" He sighed, seeing right through me. I chuckled, sweat dropping.
"You'll scold me..." I chuckled.
Mundok ushered Tae-woo and Tae-yeon out, before grabbing a bottle of sake and sitting at his desk. I sat opposite, watching him pour for both of us. He always 'treated' me when ever I came over. I'd became quite a capable drinker thanks to his 'help'.
"So, what did you do?" He asked.
I sighed, brushing back my fringe and staring at the floor.
"It seems I've lost my edge... I can't read people at all..." I sighed, now rubbing my forehead in agitation.
"Go on" Mundok urged.
I spilled everything. I told him about everything since leaving the castle the first time, excluding the part about the dragons.
"You are in quite the predicament, aren't you?" He chuckled once I was finished. He was slightly shocked. He had NOT been expecting that.
"I just don't know where to go. Should I return to the pirates? Live out a peaceful life there? Should I go back to the earth tribe? Help train men and re-patch my relationship with Hiro and Aki? Should I go back to Yona and her friends, and assist them in their adventure? Should I go back to the castle, and waste my life away in boredom? Or even assist Soo-won? I could even stay here, and live out a peaceful life" I hummed, leaning back against my hands.
