Dan had told me that he'd be towards the end, but I wasn't aware that waiting for him to come on was gonna be difficult. The other acts were kinda bland, but I can't say shit, considering they're all doing better then I could.

After what feels like hours, Dan finally comes on, he's got a small box of other instruments that he brings on the small stage so this should be very interesting. He sits down and aligns his fingers on the piano keys

He clears his throat, "Hi my name's Dan Smith, and this is Irreverence". Dan then begins to play that intro that I've only heard twice, but I still adore it

These chords make her so happy especially when he plays them that way
What she says make him so happy complementing him all day

The humming was the best part, at the very end. He just remained looking at me with sadness? I don't know what emotion it was, but I just wanted to run up to him and hold him tight. Don't think I've ever felt that way.

After everyone applauded, Dan went off stage and a few more people went on. It was about ten more minutes until the competition ended and they announced Dan as the winner. He looked so happy
