Jens pov
I'm with Sofia sitting waiting and watching Emme's dance class. Sofia wasn't bored though she liked it. "Jennifer" Sofia said "Yeah?" I say looking down to my side at her. She's swinging her legs and she's so focused on the class. "How long has Emme been dancing for?" "Just a few years" "it looks fun" she looks at me "you like to dance?"
"Mhm"
"Maybe later when your mom is settled with everything you could join this class. I bet Emme would love that"
"Yes! I want to join later" she smiles then looks away. I go on my phone and text Leah. Look at me bonding with my crushes daughter.
"Yeah so Sofia wants to join dance for sure 😂 she's so entertained right now even though we're almost done"
"aww. Well I'll make sure to have her take classes there."
"Yes!"
"Let me know if you need anything. Have fun"
"Alright. You too! Have fun being child free for a night lol"

After her class I took them out to eat. It's like I have two daughters tonight.
We sit in a booth and Emme and Sofia sit across from me.
"Babe what do you want from the kids menu?"
"Pizza"
"Aren't you tired of pizza?"
"Mac and cheese" she says. I tilt my head and look at her weird. "Which one? Pick one"
"Mac and pizza" she said and Sofia looks at her and laughs and Emme laughs too. I shake my head and smile. "seriously. There's other stuff. Like chicken strips, sandwich, pasta"
"Okay, pasta"
"Are you sure? I'm not changing your order after they serve it"
"Yes"
"Okay how about you sofia?"
"I'll have chicken strips"
"Okay"
Once the waiter comes I ordered for us all. Sofia kept watching the waiter as he took the order. Then she kept looking around. I don't know why but I think she was observing how waiters or waitresses work. Like how her mom used to work.
The rest of the dinner went great. I learned about Sofia a little more. She told me she's always wanted a sister or best friend and she feels like Emme fits that role. That's so cute how they became really good friends so quickly. To me kids are such a blessing. Especially for me because of my past before I had Emme. I got lucky that I even got pregnant with Emme and it was the best thing that's ever happened to me. Everyone who could easily have a child when they're ready and they want one is lucky. It wasn't that easy for me.

After a fun night at home of them playing whatever, I was finally putting them to sleep.
"You don't want me to stay in bed with you?" I ask Emme. Her and Sofia are sleeping in the same bed so she's acting like a grown up who doesn't need her mom to stay with her till she falls asleep. "No Mommy we are fine." "Okaaay." I pause and start kissing her all over her face. "Mommy stop!" She giggles "I love you. Goodnight you guys" I say to them "Goodnight" they say back to me then I leave with their door open because I wanna make sure I could hear if they're okay from my room.
I go to my room and get ready to shower. After I shower I throw on some shorts and a shirt and go straight to bed and turn on the tv. Also I went on my phone and texted Leah.
"Hi"
"Hey! Everything ok?"
"Yeah. They're falling asleep now. Emme didn't want me to stay there till she fell asleep tonight. Your daughter hogged my daughter away from me lol"
"Lol sorry about that"
"No it's fine I'm jk. I'm just bored now😂"
"Same. I don't even have my daughter with me but I mean it's pretty relaxing"
"Lol She's such a good kid. I love how intelligent she it"
"She learned it from the best :)"
"Hahaha I don't see a lie there"
We ended up texting for about two hours then I fell asleep. I was the last to text her but I was waiting for her to respond but I was too tired to wait so I fell asleep.

Leah's pov
I woke up today feeling happy and excited for some reason. Probably cause of last night. Jennifer and I texted a lot. I kept making her laugh I guess. She kept sending laughing emojis whenever I said something funny. If only I heard her laugh in person. I've heard it a few times and it's so cute and contagious.
Jennifer and I are on our way to work after dropping off sofia and Emme.
"So How was it last night?"
"Fun! All they wanted to do was play so I let them. I took them out to eat after Emme's class also and they both took showers before sleeping."
"Oh okay that's cool. Thanks for all that though"
"No problem"
We got to work just on time. I'm kind of bummed that my office isn't right by Jennifer but she is on the same floor. The past week she's been coming in my office checking on me making sure I'm okay and I love it when she does that. She wears the nicest outfits to work. I don't know how guys aren't hitting on her or how girls are giving her those snobby typish looks. But I've heard she's super nice to everyone. I think that's true. Especially what she's done for me. Plus I've seen her talk to some employees and she's so innocent. She doesn't even crack into some type mean mode. Well not yet. Maybe she just hasn't dealt with anything annoying her yet. She's literally a sweetheart. I need whatever she takes because she seems stress free also. I mean she is living the life I've wanted. Working at a high business like this which I already am but I haven't gotten my first check yet but once I do I'm paying all my bills first then save the extra money for emergency but also save some pocket money.
