Leah's pov
Jennifer fucking fell asleep after sex and we have to pick the girls up in 5 minutes. I gave her some time to sleep which was only 20 minutes but she still won't wake up. She was drunk so she needs the sleep but her daughter is waiting. So that's when I decided to pick them up myself. I don't know where to go though. I'm guessing somewhere by where the performance was.. but just to make sure..
I looked for Jens phone because that's where she got the information. In a group text. Once I got her phone, of course it was locked so I went to the bed and put her phone by her thumb to unlock it using Touch ID then I went through her phone. Well just her messages.
After figuring out where to go a text notification popped up from Lynda. I just saw part of it and it said. "Then tell her you might actually be in love"
That confused me. I'm not a snoop but I was curious. So I looked.
"Emme is the reason I cant be with someone. Now she's even more scared because she caught me and Leah kissing. I just want what's right for Emme but I really like Leah..I'm falling for her.. but something's holding me back from telling her that. Yeah we mess around a lot and I just think that's to satisfy our needs but I don't know if it's going anywhere or maybe I'm just impatient.."
"Then tell her you might actually be in love with her. Also If you just talk to Emme and show her how great Leah is she might actually like her instead of being afraid."
She's falling in love with me? I don't know why I'm surprised when it's obvious. Probably the truth just hits me more. I like Jennifer too but I don't know if it's right for us to be an actual couple. But I also don't wanna loose her. She's already given me so much. I cant just drop that. She changed mine and Sofia's whole life just because she's nice and she had a crush on me.
I put her phone back down to where it was after locking it then kissed jen on her fore head and left.
After a few minutes of looking around I finally found them.
"Mom!" Sofia yells and runs up to me away from Emme leaving her alone. "Hi baby how was it?" "It was fun. I reeeeaaally wanna join dance! They let me learn stuff for beginners and I did good"
"I know I know. I'm thinking about it.. that's good though!!..Umm.. can you call Emme to come here? I don't know why she's just standing there"
"Okay" she says and goes to Emme and holds her hand walking towards me. "Where's Mommy?" She asks me shyly. "She's in the hotel room sleeping. She wanted me to pick you guys up..and take you guys to go eat"
"Oh" Emme says looks at Sofia.
They haven't eaten anything but a little snack for breakfast.
"She was tired from waking up early this morning hun"
"When will she wake up?"
"I'm not sure..she'll text me if she wakes up while we are still"
"Okaaay"
Poor emme. I'm probably scaring her and I don't want that. I feel bad. "Babe hold Emme's hand" I tell sofia and she listens
Once we got to where we wanted to eat I sat by myself on one side while I had Emme and Sofia sit across from me. I'm actually scared taking care of jens daughter but she used to do the same with sofia. Emme is just younger and more attached to Jen. If only she didn't get so drunk..
Emme kept looking at me throughout the time we ate. Sofia noticed too.
"Emme what's wrong?" She asks her "are you sure your mommy will be nice to mine?" Help.. "What? Yes! Emme is that why you're acting weird?" Sofia asks her. Emme just pouts and looks at her food. At least she was eating.
"Emme..I came all the way to Vegas with you guys because I wanted to keep your mom company and stay with her for a week. She wanted me to come too and she knows what's she's doing. She makes the right decisions. I'm not here to ruin anything."
"..But Why were you kissing her?" Emme asks and I sighed. "Because..I-she-we said it was a friendly kiss."
Emme shook her head "I don't believe you" "emme.."
"Emme it's my mom. I'm your bestie. You should be able to trust your besties Mom" I look at Emme and she put her hands to cover her eyes and she starts crying.
Ugghhhhhh
I stood up and told sofia to switch with me and I sat by Emme. She puts her head down onto the table covering her face with her arms.
"Emme don't cry...what's the matter?" I ask and rub her back. Now I wish jen was here. I did not mean to make her cry. Emme is so confused. At least jen hasn't dated anyone else since Emme's dad. She would've been really confused.

Jens pov
I wake up to my head pounding. I don't even know what time it is..it's dark outside and I'm super tired. I reach over my phone and see my phone spammed with messages from Leah. Then it hit me how quiet it was in here.
I got up and looked everywhere and there was nobody here. So I checked my messages. After reading them all I facetimed Leah instead of texting her back I'm too tired to text back.
"Hey.." I say
"Wow you sound tired"
"Where are you?"
"I picked up the girls from that thing and then we went to eat, now we're at that Hershey's chocolate store."
"Emme's with you?"
"Yes I said girls silly"
"Fuck..ok..Leah my head hurts so bad"
"You barely got sleep. I'm surprised you're not at least tipsy"
"Tipsy?"
"You got drunk"
"Okay.. first of all make sure my daughter didn't hear that.."
"She didn't. She's with sofia but I have my eyes on them right now"
"Okay..um.. I- just- I don't know. Hurry back and bring me something my head fucking hurts"
"Okay I will...by the way. I think Emme likes me now? Not sure"
"Really?"
"I think..Okay lemme tell you....So after I picked them up we went to eat and she started crying at the table so I helped and comforted her and all that shit and proved to her about how I'm not trying to hurt you.."
"Aw..baby.."
"Yeah..she's better now. I kind of bribed her with chocolate."
"Great."
"Sorry haha.."
"Whatever. You're taking care of her if she stays up all night"
"Sure thing"
I watched Leah through the camera and she flips it to Emme and Sofia who were holding hands looking around at the souvenirs.
"I'll be back there in less than 20." She tells me "Okay..don't take long" "I won't"
Leah and Emme? Hmm..that's so cute to me. My crush and the love of my life, who was scared of Leah, are now bonding. I wanna see them all in person now but this headache is making it hard for me to even process things. I shouldn't even be having this big of a headache..
