Johan and Erica watched the plane from above. However, people begun to die from hypothermia and the captain was having little luck getting in contact with anyone. And, Johan chose not to stay with the stranded passengers because he saw a trio of mako sharks rushing towards the grounded plane.
Johan flew up higher, with Erica hanging onto his feet.
"According to my calculations, the plane crashed 45 miles to the east of Hilo. If I fly at-actually, I'm going to check my skillset." Johan did exactly that by simply imagining that a skillset would be there. Sure enough, it appeared.
Johan tapped the skill, Fly. A pop up appeared.
SKILL: FLY(Lv.1)
Enables user to levitate the body. Increasing the level increases the duration of time they can fly, and decreases EP consumption.
Maximum speed:25 mi./hour
Maximum duration: 2 hours
Ability cooldown: 3 hours
EP consumption: 40/ hour.
"Okay, since I used 50 EP on the plane, and EP recovers per hour instead of gradually, I would have 50 EP to start with, and 32 after the first hour of flying. However, I saved some of the pizza from the plane in my inventory. If I eat all the slices that are left, I can regain about 400 calories, which is about 20 EP*, which I can deduce from giving energy to the plane. Then, I would end up with 52 EP, and even though my EP level would be at critical level, I can still get us there."
Erica brought up a good point, however. "Johan, what if those stats are assuming your not carrying anyone?"
Johan responded, admitting that Erica was probably correct. "You are right. I considered this. So, Erica, you are going to have to go into my inventory."
Erica groaned. Johan opened up his inventory, and after much protest and some resistance from the inventory itself, she gave in and went into the inventory.
Johan started his flight. When land was visible, he rejoiced, as he started to think he was lost and was beginning to feel worried, and of course, tired. He ended up landing on the shore coast of the Big Island, and took out Erica from his inventory. Quite anticlimactically (and hopefully coincidentally,) he grabbed her out by her hair, which caused her to squeal. Then, due to lack of energy, he collapsed at her feet.
*A/N: he is correct. 1 EP is 20 kilocalories (regular food calories) so thus 20 EP is 400 kcal.
