Chapter 16: Lily

Johan felt his anger taking control of his mind. In his Shadow Excursion form, he used Shadow Implosion. It was in the Fabrication, of course, but it was nonetheless deadly. The already mentally unstable and depressed Johan now had more mental trauma. This would be a major issue in the future.
Shadow Implosion, because of his increased Intelligence, the fact that Shadow Implosion was level three, and that Johan was in Excursion form, did much more damage than Frank, or frankly anyone anticipated. He did not control it at all. He could not calm down after all that he had been through. And thus, disaster ensued.
     The use of Shadow Implosion caused an earthquake, along with every visible thing in the vicinity to be completely demolished. Lily was still conscious, having hidden, but all the Globalous members but Frank and Aaron and Erica had collapsed.
     Johan, in the midst of all his anger, managed to get a grip on himself. He deactivated Shadow Excursion. But when Frank went charging at Aaron with Acid, he went into absolute rage. Johan didn't care about how much HP Frank had left. He went back into Shadow Excursion mode, and used was about to use Shadow Explosion. But then, out of all times, Lily decided to stop hiding behind Erica now.
     "Johan, don't! Please! I know you're angry and all. I know this incident only caused more damage to your mental health. I know you were bullied for a while. I know you were put on death row. But get a grip on yourself! Erica and Aaron are already on the ground, passed out! Erica is starting to come to, but think of Aaron!"
     Johan was only more infuriated by this. "Then why didn't you help me instead of sitting back all those times?! I've already lied to Erica about being fine after asking her the same damn question! I've both received and caused more damage than necessary! You could've stopped it, you know!"
     Johan proceeded to use Shadow Explosion. But, Lily jumped on him. Frank was just watching, smiling to himself. "Get off me!" Johan yelled, his eyes now turning into a deep shade of crimson. His Shadow Excursion form hadn't yet fully activated, so he was still solid.
     "No! When that spell of yours fully activates, I won't be able to stop you anymore! Johan, please, control yourself!"
     "You still haven't answered my freaking question!"
     "Okay Johan, it's embarrassing, but I'll tell you. I did try to help you. I really liked you for the person you were. Back then, when you were more easygoing, more friendly, but all the while, dealing with depression with a smile. Of course, I knew that that was just an act, but I admired your strength and courage. I also started noticing that you were beginning to lose weight in late May and early June, and secretly, I was cheering for you. When you were being bullied, I always wanted to try standing up for you, but I never had the courage to directly do it, so I always ended up telling a teacher.
     "I'm sorry for being unaware that the teachers weren't doing anything to help you. I really tried, Johan. But then, I had enough. I was going to stick up for you the day before you went viral on social media. I went straight to Tom and his goons and the Trifecta and told them to stop. I was beat up and teased for doing so, but I was not going to use The Ability on them. But then, when I learned that you were playing dictator, I couldn't let that slide, which brings us to now."
     Johan was very touched with these words. He deactivated Shadow Excursion. He deactivated Shadow Explosion. Erica and Aaron were staring. Instead, he used Bolt Strike to combat Frank instead. Lily was relieved. Frank threw Acid. Erica ducked instantly, knowing the immense power of the skill. Aaron wouldn't, and Erica had to push him out of the way. Johan threw a lightning bolt at Frank. It whittled his HP down a little. Johan used Clairvoyance. Frank was now level 77, but he only had 5412 HP. He had just under 700 left due to Shadow Implosion and Bolt Strike.
     Frank looked like he was about to collapse. Then, he used his Six skill-Archangel. His health went almost back to full, his eyes glowed a sinister shade of orange, he grew a meter, and wings sprouted from his back. His MP received a massive max boost, and his Intelligence, Agility, and Strength skyrocketed.
     "I didn't want to have to use this Frank. But since you used Annoying Skill of Overpoweredness 69000, I'll have to use my six AS of OPness 69000," Johan said.
     Frank raised an eyebrow. "You said Shadow Implosion was your Six skill, with Shadow Explosion clearly being an evolution. Did you have more than one?"
     "Yes."
     Johan activated Butterfly Effect, Checkmate, Shadow Excursion, and Warp Gate one after the other. Frank practically teleported away from it. But, Johan smiled. Secretly, he had asked Lily to cloak his Warp Gate. She did so. He ran straight into it and came out of the sky. Johan fired Butterfly Effect again. It hit. In a few minutes, Johan knew that Frank would become deformed. The deformity would be permanent unless it was treated with MP or a healing skill. So, he opened up multiple (visible) Warp Gates and teleported around, dodging Frank's attacks.
     In the same time window that he told Lily to cloak his first Warp Gate, he also told Erica to use her Six skill-Gravity. It would effect all of them, but Frank the most. She activated it right when Johan snapped his fingers. At the same time, he fired his shadows at Frank. The light made them slower and weaker, but they all still hit. Johan then fired a Jet Cannon at the same time Erica activated Gravity. Frank flew up, and then smashed down.
    Aaron then performed his part. While Frank was about to use Poisonous Poseidon's Trident, Johan Warp Gated Aaron to right on top of Frank. Johan kicked Frank in the groin, and with the added strength, it made Frank fly right into Aaron's hands. Aaron then used Repulsion. Frank flew straight into Johan. Johan hoped Checkmate would work.
     Checkmate was a skill that immobilized ("checkmated") and then condensed the user's skin cells, making them much harder. It only worked for a split second.
     At initial view, anyone would've thought the skill had failed. Frank rammed straight into Johan. Johan lost a lot of HP. Shadow Excursion had run out at this point, and so he was solid.
     However, Checkmate, if the user survived, after un-condensing the cells, would take ("capture") some of a nearby living thing's cells. This would repair damage, but in the case of Gamer's Body, where injury was usually negated, would restore HP.
     Johan, after the collision, was at 2432 HP. But, he regenerated to 5875 HP in an instant. Frank, however, was the living thing that Checkmate had decided to steal from. He was now at 415 HP. It was now that Archangel ran out of time. He surrendered.
     Lily and Erica came out from behind the rocks, and Aaron cautiously went over to Frank and Johan. Johan's mental state returned to him again.
     "I surrender! Don't kill me! Please! I'll give anything!" Frank pleaded.
     Johan balled his fists. "What right do you have to say anything?! I will kill you right here after forcing all the information I need out of you!"
     Johan handcuffed Frank. Then, he cloned the handcuff and then put it around his neck, two more at his ankles, and a final one on his thigh. Johan then was about to use Bolt Strike, but Aaron interrupted him.
     "Chill Johan, get control of yourself. Frank might not be a good person, but maybe we can get him over to our-"
     "What the heck Aaron?! You trust this maggot after everything he's done?!" Johan shouted.
     Johan then calmed down. "Okay Frank, you get to see another day. Sorry about threatening to kill you and all. Lost control. I don't exactly trust you, but you must have your reasons. I'll make you a deal. We'll let you stay at granny's and we'll hear you out, but in exchange, you fill us in. Deal?"
     Frank's expression changed from hopeless regret and fear to joy. "Deal!"
