Part 20

Jimin

We went back to school after a couple of days, and it was brilliant. I had a friend. Hoseok was there to walk with between classes, and we ate lunch together in the cafeteria. On nice days we would eat out in the courtyard and practice some dance moves, and the other kids would gather around and watch us and cheer us on. Hoseok was such a friendly person, and he attracted friends so easily, that I soon found myself meeting all sorts of different people, who never even looked at me before. Sehun never once came near me, though I caught him watching me a few times. If he or his friends happened to be around, Hoseok would always casually mention Yoongi and they faded away pretty quickly.

We joined a local dance group and I went back to my classes. Yoongi was still calling, though his calls seemed to get less and less frequent, and shorter and shorter. He was unhappy, I knew he was, but he would never say so. Sasa came around all the time to hang out with us, and she came along to every single performance that our dance group gave, clapping and cheering us on. Before I knew it almost a year had passed since Yoongi and Namjoon left, and It was summer again.

One afternoon Sasa called and asked us to meet up with her that afternoon. We were both happy to meet up with her, and after school we caught the bus to her place. When we knocked Mina let us in and showed us into the living room, where Sasa was sitting with two other boys.
"Hoseok, Jimin, hey I want you to meet someone"

And she introduced us to the two other boys

"This is Taehyung and Jungkook"

We said hello and she continued

"These two can sing, and their pretty good dancers as well, they've been trying for awhile now to get into an agency as trainees, and I thought as you guys are doing the same maybe you could do some stuff again."

"Sure, that sounds great" Hoseok answered her

We hung out with them for the rest of the afternoon, and then agreed to meet up at Hoseok's studio in a couple of days. When we did all get together we had an absolute blast, and we all became great friends. Jungkook had a great voice he was a couple of years younger than me, and Tae was the same age and had a gorgeous deep voice that I loved. They could move really well and were hilarious to be around. We were in the studio one Saturday morning, going over a new routine Hoseok had worked on, the music was pumping, and we were so into the dance neither of us heard the door open. When the song finished someone was standing by the door clapping and cheering. I turned around in shock, and then ran across the room and threw myself at him

"Yoongi!"

"Wow I would have come sooner if knew I'd get this reaction" he was grinning at me

"Um hello ...not invisible"

"Namjoon!" I threw myself on him next

"Humph and I thought I was special" Yoongi feigned being upset

"What are you doing here? Why are you not in Seoul? How long are you here for?"

"Slow down...Yoongi was laughing"

Hoseok had joined me and hugged them both and started asking questions at the same tine too

"Let's go upstairs and you can tell us everything" Hoseok said

Once we settled in the living room with drinks and snacks that Jiwoon had prepared, they started talking. They told us how awful it had been, and how the rules just got stricter and stricter and so they left.

"It just wasn't our dream" Yoongi finished

"I'm sad for you guys, but I'm really glad to see you." I smiled at him
