Serendipity 2 JHope and Jimin

Part 16

Before I knew it, I had been in the unit for almost three months. My parents and brother visited regularly, and Sehun came once more. We didn't say much, but he did apologise over and over again until I told him he had to stop. I was determined to get to Mina's foster daughter, more for Hoseok's sake, and so every time she came in, I went up and spoke to her. We became really good friends with her, and she would come see us even when she wasn't rostered on, and we danced for her and she sang karaoke with us and we had so much fun. She told us about her brother, Yoongi and Mina's son Namjoon, who were putting together an audition tape for JYP entertainment. She was so proud of them you could hear it in her voice whenever she spoke of them. Every time she spoke about her brother, her whole face lit up, and you could clearly see she idolized him. I wondered what sort of guy he must be to inspire such reverence in his sister.

She was always asking me to sing, and for some reason I always gave in to her, she had this way that made me just want to make her smile. Hoseok did the same everytime she asked him to dance. He had a huge crush on he,r and I caught him a few times just staring at her and smiling. I was determined to get them together, I just needed the right opportunity, so I watched and waited. One afternoon as she was leaving I got up to give her my usual hug goodbye, when I noticed that she had a book sticking out of her bag.

"What are you reading? "I asked her

"Oh. This...Well its Romeo and Juliet, its my favourite book "

"Really Hoseok loves Romeo and Juliet too" I was being honest, he had told me it was a favourite of his when he found a copy on one of the bookshelves in the unit

"Hoseok I didn't take you for a romantic" she giggled

"Oh...Ah...Well.... I...."
Seriously this was going to get him nowhere.

"Next time you come in Sasa I'll let you two talk about it together"

"Sounds good, but be warned Hoseok, I have very strong opinions on this story" she giggled again and hugged him goodbye, before leaving. As soon as she was gone he turned to me

"What was that you little shit?"

"What was what?"

"You know what, don't give me that innocent baby face look. Could you have been more obvious do you think?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, I just noticed you had something in common that's all"

He swatted me over the back of the head and walked away, but he had a small smile on his face he was trying to hide.

Whenever she came in she spoke about her brother and Namjoon, and how their song was coming along

"You're really close with them both aren't you?"

"My brother means the whole world to me, and Namjoon is ....is....

"Like a brother?" I prompted her

"Yes....No.... Yes.... I guess so....I'm just really proud of both of them"

"Hey what are you two up to?" It was Hoseok, he'd been at his therapy session and must have just finished

I thought this was the perfect opportunity to leave them alone for a while, so I made an excuse about seeing one of the nurses and left them to it. When I came back an hour later, they were still sitting in the day room talking, and Hoseok was holding on to her hand. I detoured quickly in the other direction, and went back to my room, I couldn't wait for him to come back so I could find out what had happened.
