Jimin

The slap echoed around the hallway as he started to curse at me and ask me why. I didn't answer him, just continued to stare at him while he rearranged his face back into the sneer he had had earlier. But it was too late for that now, I had seen his face when he first saw me, and I knew how he really felt. The stranger insisted we all go through to the living room and sit down, so I sat opposite him and never once took my eyes off his face. Not while Sasa was almost begging him to talk to her and tell her what was going on, not when the stranger got up to make coffee, and not when Namjoon lost his temper and called Yoongi names. Finally, I had to say something, I couldn't hold back my curiosity, and I admit jealousy, any longer

"How about you start by telling us who the hell that kid is?" I finally burst out

"He...He lives here"

"I didn't ask you where he lived" I said sarcastically

Before he could answer me, the kid came back into the room with coffee and introduced himself. I was relieved, but even more confused, when he said he was Yoongi and Sasa's step brother. I didn't know he had one, and by the look on her face, neither did Sasa. Yoongi looked over at me then and the sneer was back on his face as he spoke

"You shouldn't have come here. I came here to get away from you and your clinging on to me, and you've just proved my point by following me. You need to just accept it Jimin, I don't care about you anymore, I don't want to be with you anymore, and you all need to leave me alone"

"Bullshit" I said it smiling at him, and he looked slightly disconcerted. I wasn't going to let him pretend and play games when I knew he was lying.

"I just want an easy life, a quiet life, and I'm sorry but living with you guys, and being part of that house just isn't working for me anymore"

"Bullshit "I said it again and smiled at him wider this time

"Look, I don't really know what's going on here, but I think you need to tell your sister who I am and why you're here at least Yoong's"

I swear if that kid called him Yoong's one more time I was going to punch him one, I don't care who he was.

"Sasa, Jinwoo is our step brother, apparently our father remarried a few years ago, but his wife died recently, and father is dying now, and I came here to sort some stuff out. OK? Happy now? Now will you go away and let me get on with it?"

Oh man, now I understood what the idiot was up to, good thing I loved him, or I would have slapped his face again at that moment. And I knew Sasa had picked up on it too. Yoongi was being bloody noble of all things. He thought he had to look after this kid, and his father, and he wanted us to be mad at him. Of all the idiotic stupid things. Sasa was almost smiling now too, as she outlined to him her theory as to what he was doing here.

"I'm going to tell you what I think is going on here Yoong's, and she emphasised the nickname just to annoy him. I think you got an email from Jinwoo telling you about father, and that he was only seventeen and alone, and you, being the idiot that you are, figured it was your responsibility to get down here and play the big brother again, and take care of both of them. You also thought that you would protect me from any of this, after everything that I had been through in the last months, and that it was better I didn't know anything about it anyway, as seeing father would only upset me. You decided you would probably have to move here to look after Jinwoo, so you staged this big fight and pretended you wanted to leave us all, leave BTS and leave Jimin. That part I think is the worst action of all. You wanted him to hate you, didn't you? You wanted him to stop caring for you, and hate you so that when you left, and you didn't come back, he wouldn't be upset or hurt, and you could deal with it better yourself. If Jimin hated you and there was no chance of getting him back, it wouldn't matter that you were here. "
