Part 35

Jimin

I was so excited I could barely sit still. I spent the whole day singing to myself and willing the time to pass until the night came. We had a photo shoot and then rehearsals all day so at least I was kept busy, and I got to burn off some the energy dancing. By the time we got home, and I jumped into the shower to get ready, I thought I would explode with happiness. Once we were all ready we stepped outside the building and for the first time Yoongi took my hand in the street and off we went. I can't even begin to explain how good it felt to do something so simple.

When we arrived at the bar we went to the room booked for us and had the best time. Even Mina turned up for a surprise visit. Sasa and the boys all posted photos of the two of us together, as per the plan, and I couldn't remember a time I had ever been so happy. We got a car to take us all home and Yoongi pulled me off to his room as soon as we got in the door. He was hyped up and couldn't sit still

"That was awesome"

"It was pretty good"

"Pretty good? Jimin do you realise what we just did?"

"We held hands in public Yoongi, we didn't cure cancer" I laughed at him

"I feel like I'm me for the first time in my entire life. That was incredible, so liberating and ...and...."

"Calm down Yoongi" I was still laughing at him when he picked me up and spun me around laughing himself, before putting me down and still holding me close in his arms. He was serious all of a sudden.

"I love you" he kissed me

"How did I ever get so lucky as to find you?" I asked him

"It was serendipity"he answered me

"Serendipity?"

"Yep a happy accident"

"I like that" I smiled at him

I watched Namjoon and Sasa very carefully over the next few days as he kept up his flirting. kissing her, and playing with her hair, calling her baby and a hundred other things he used to do. At first, I think she was angry and confused, wondering like the rest of us what in the hell he is playing at. After a while though she was responding and kissing him back, and she walked around in a daze with an insipid smile on her face. So, I left them alone for now.

The day after Yoongi and Jimin's night out we waited for the phone to start ringing and the photographers and fans to appear out front, but nothing happened.

"See Yoongi, all this time you had nothing to worry about, the world doesn't care who you're bonking"

"Jeon Jungkook" Jin hit him over the head looking disgusted

"Ouch why is everyone always hitting me?"

"Because you can't keep your smart mouth closed kid" Namjoon answered through a mouthful of toast

"I'm not a kid!!"

"It doesn't make any sense" Jimin said

"It will be A.R.M.Y "Tae put in

"Why do you say that Tae?" JK asked him

"Protecting them I bet"

"Surely not, they couldn't possibly keep that quiet" Jin said

"Wait check it out "I showed them my phone where a sudden influx of tweets and YouTube videos had appeared. They all gathered around as we watched it. Sasa came in half way through and explained that, yes in fact she had just been on the phone to A.R.M.Y president Meenho, and
Tae had been right. We thought Tae lived in his own little world most of the time, but sometimes he was so incredibly perceptive it shocked us all. Apparently, A.R.M.Y had monitored it all night, and taken down everything they could. Seriously, we had the best fans. By lunchtime there were photographers and fans out front by the hundred by the look of things.
"What do we do now?" Jimin asked

"Nothing "Sasa told him "I guarantee Yoonjae will call me before the end of the day"

"I bet you fifty bucks he doesn't" JK challenged her

"OOOhhhh JK's in the money. Did the tooth fairy come again?" Namjoon teased him

"Why do I live here?"and he stormed out of the kitchen

"Because you love us" Sasa yelled after him laughing
