The Ninjago Runner

Chapter 4

Turner was thrown in the slammer, the 'prison' of the Glade.  With the dusty table and the three-legged chair. He was locked up and Kai called a gathering of the Keepers to decide what was going to happen to Turner. Jay wasn't allowed to go, since he is not a keeper, but was told to wait on the doors for Cole, to tell him to go to the Homestead when he comes back, since he will be needed too. Suddenly, he saw three figures coming closer to the Glade. Cole, Seliel and Nya. When they entered, they just ran past him, not making any eye contact. Suddenly, Jay started chasing after them

"Hey guys, please stop!"Jay said. Cole stopped and the two girls followed his lead

"What?"Cole asked annoyed. He was still kinda mad from the morning

"Cole, you are needed in the Homestead. Kai called a gathering"Jay said

"Okay"Cole said and his expression softened"Thanks, Greenie"he said and patted Jay on the shoulder, then jogged over the Homestead

"What happened?"Nya asked confused

"No time now, Nya. We have to draw the maps"Seliel said and dragged her away by her wrist

"See ya later, Jay!"Nya yelled while she was dragged away. Jay was just sitting there and staring at her. Suddenly, he jumped from the doors closing. He sighed and walked to the woods. He went to one three and climbed on it, then sat down on it. He started thinking. For what were they talking about on the gathering? Was it for Turner? What will happen to him? Will he be punished for that he attacked Jay? He had no idea. He was so lost in thoughts, that he didn't heard someone coming and on a branch next to him

"Hey"the person said. Jay turned to see no other than Nya, staring at him with a smile on her face"You okay? I heard what happened today"Nya said concerned

"Y-Yeah. Thanks for asking"Jay said and turned away

"What's wrong with you?"Nya asked and he struggled

"Just worried, I guess"Jay said

"For what?"

"For what is going to happen"Jay answered honestly

"Well, I think the gathering will be over soon. We can ask Cole what they said"Nya suggested

"That sounds good"Jay said nodding and after that there was an awkward silence

"So, ummm..we didn't actually get to know each other. Can you tell me something about yourself?"Nya asked breaking the tense between them

"Well, I can't remember that much, actually"Jay said looking down sadly"What about you?"

"I can't remember anything either..."Nya said looking down"..., but for the time I am here, I learnt a lot for myself"Nya said

"Then, tell me something"Jay said looking at her

"Well, I found out that I like the color blue. I like to run and the rain"Nya said

"That's....nice"Jay said. That was the only thing he can think of. He didn't know what to say in this situation, but was glad at least she know what she likes

"Well, you said you wanna be a runner, right?"Nya asked and Jay nodded"Well, that can mean that you like running"Nya guessed

"Maybe yes, maybe no. I am not sure..."Jay said"I just fell I have to go in there and explore"Jay said

"Okay, well, I can help you to remember which is your favorite color, maybe"Nya said

"How?"Jay asked interest in her offer

"Come with me"Nya said, going back on the ground. Jay followed, right on her heels. They started walking deeper in the forest, until they went to some bushes. Nya moved them away and entered-Jay following her. They entered a little flower Garten. It had plenty of colorful flowers. Red, blue, yellow, pink, orange, green-every color he can think of. He looked around the garden

"It's beautiful here"Jay said

"I know. I found this place some mounts ago and I didn't tell anyone for this. I am coming here sometimes, just to be alone for a while"Nya said

"Yeah, I guess it's good to be alone sometimes"Jay said

"It is"Nya said. She sat on the ground cross legged and Jay sat in front of her in the same position

"Hey..."Jay said and Nya looked at him"Can you,...tell me how I look like?"Jay asked unsure

"Sure!"Nya said with a big smile on her face"So, you have a semi long, light brown hair and the same color eyebrows. You have a scar over your right one. Your skin is a little pale and you have pale freckles on your nose. You also have deep, lightning blue eyes"Nya said and Jay gave her a small smile

"Thanks"Jay said

"Well, now, can you tell me how I look like?"Nya asked

"You don't know how you look like?"Jay asked confused. She is here from like two years, and she still don't know how she looks like?

"Yeah. I've never bothered to care, but now, when I told you how you look like, I fell a little curious"Nya said

"Okay. You have black hair, I think to your back or something like this. Your skin is a little tan and you have a little mole on your right cheek. You also have beautiful, ocean blue eyes"Jay said and Nya blushed, then he realized what he just said

"Did I said this out loud?"

"Yeah, yeah you did"Nya said and giggled, blushing even more. Jay did the same. Nya stopped and stand up

"C'mon, it's getting dark. Let's go back and see what is going to happen with Turner"Nya said, offering him her hand to get up. He took it and stand, then the two started walking towards the Glade. When they arrived, they saw Seliel and Cole talking with each other, Seliel looked like she was going to cry. Nya and Jay jogged over to them

"What's wrong, Sel?"Nya asked, putting a hand on her best friend's shoulder

"They decided what will happen with Turner"Seliel said

"What will happen to him?"Jay asked worried and curious in the same time

"He will be..."

BOOM! Cliffhanger. Sorry guys, but I had to. Anyways, I am sorry for the late update and I wanted to say that I decided to change the plot.
