Chapter 6

The next morning, Jay woke up groaning. He opened his eyes and looked around. He felt something on his hand. He looked at it to see Nya's smaller one holding it. He smiled at himself, then looked around. The others were still asleep. Jay stand up and went closer to Nya, then shook her gently

"Nya, get up"he said"We have to go"he added and Nya opened her eyes, then closed them again and nodded. With a sigh she sat and looked at the others

"Let's wake them up"Nya whispered and Jay nodded, then started waking the group

After everyone were awake, they walked out of the building. Everyone looked around. They were in a destroyed city. There weren't any people

"C'mon. Let's go"Kai said and started walking ahead. Everyone followed. They were walking thought the city, under the scorching sun and looking around

"I am pretty sure we arrived in the hell"Lloyd commented"Always thought that you will end up here, Cole, not me"she added

"Thank you very much"Cole said rolling his eyes. Suddenly, there were noises. Jay looked up and saw one of the helicopters

"Guys hide!"he yelled and took Nya's arm, then started running to some fallen stones and hide under them. Everyone followed and hide somewhere. They were all looking at the helicopter. When it was out of sigh, they stand up and continued

"Where are we actually going?"Zane asked after a while of silence

"To the mountains"Nelson said"I heard they are hiding there"

"Okay then"Pixal said

Walking. From some hours, that's everything they do. The group climbed up the sand and looked ahead

"There they are"Skylor said and suddenly, Seliel started taking deep breaths and started falling

"Seliel!"Nya yelled and tried to catch her, but unsuccessful. Everyone ran to her

"Fast! Give her water!"Harumi yelled. Cole took out his bottle and helped her to sit, then gave it to her. She drank a little, then gave it back to him

"Guys, let's stop and take a break for a while"Kai suggested and everyone agreed. After some more walking, they saw some stones again, who were placed kind of like a shelter and went under it. Jay walked ahead to look at the view. After a while, Nya joined him

"I fell like they are going away"Nya commented and Jay chuckled

"Yeah..."he said and looked at her"How is Seliel?"he asked

"She was just dehydrated. She will be okay"Nya said and Jay nod

"What about you?"Jay asked and Nya looked at him confused

"What do you mean?"Nya asked

"What did they do to you? You were away for like a day"Jay said and Nya sighed

"They did something to me"Nya said scratching her neck. Jay went to it and saw a tattoo. It was some kind of symbol, but Jay didn't know what it is"I think they put some chip or something, I don't know. And I don't know what it can do"Nya said looking down. Jay gave her a hug

"Don't worry, everything will be okay. I promise you"Jay said and Nya nodded. After that, they went back to the group

"Ready to go?"Jay asked and everyone nodded, then continued their journey
