"Roses are red violets are blue your ex is an ass and so am I but he'll never make you feel like I do." Justine says and I can feel the smirk on his face.
"What a sorry excuse of a pick up line."
"Either way you like it"
"No way, you know what you need? You need a poetry injection."
"Of all the things I need that would be the last on my list." He says and I can feel his mind drifting to some place else. I haven't known Justine for long but I always feel connected to his emotions, and right now all I want is to know him better.

We've been sitting in his car for about an hour busking in each other's company. Something about him makes me feel relaxed it's like we are In the eye of a storm but even though he's with me I just cant shake off the feeling that he'll be snatched away from me just like my dad and Timmy.

"Justine?"
"Hmmm"
"Who do you think took those pictures of us."
"I have no idea, anyways what's done is done and am glad people know about us now so we don't have to sneak around like church mice."
" aren't you scared that however did that wants to separate us. Plus Jessica threatened to make me pay and-"

"Shhhh....you Are ruining a perfect moment here."
"But-" I try to make him see reason.
"I like you Scarlett, do you like me?" He turns to face me giving me his full attention, his brown eyes full of sincerity.
"I do" he gives me his panty dropping shy boy smile, his dimples making me mirror his expression. He leans over to the passenger's seat and gives me a kiss on the forehead.
"Lets not waste time thinking about what other people think about us. As long as we are together we'll find away to make this work."
"So what , are we officially dating." I ask sardonically.
"Yeah...."
"I don't recall you ever asking me to be your girlfriend." I say and he chuckles smoothing he's eye brows with the tips of his fingers.

"Am working on it baby." He says making my heart bloom with a thousand flowers. Does that mean he's planning something grand? Grand? My subliminal says are you forgetting he's broke?
"I have to go now, my mum's about to get back."
"Ok, but promise me one thing." He whispers
"What?"
"Dream of me ok..."
"Only if you do" I giggle

He leans over and brushes his lips over mine then kisses me tenderly. I bite his lower lip forgetting it is bruised.
"Ow..." He winces making me flush.
"Am sorry I totally forgot you h-"
"Its ok baby. " I hold his face in my hands, our foreheads touching I just don't want this moment to end.
"will I See you tomorrow?"
"You can bet on it." I press my lips to his once more before stepping out of the car.

As I walk back to the house the evening breeze brushes over my face. I then realise how lonely my life is without Justine.

My heart has been going through a routine of emotions, fear, anger, sadness and now Justine has flickered a spark of excitement. I feel so drawn and dependent on him and this scares me. What will happen to me when I wake up one morning and he's no longer mine?

I look back at his car and he's outside staring at me. I blow him a kiss and he catches. Please don't leave me Justine. My heart pleads with him as I walk back to the humongous, cold , loveless castle I call home.

It's been a hectic week, going through thorough revision since we are a few weeks away from the final exams. Spending a lot of time with candy has really rubbed off on me. I understand things better, I may not be as smart as  She is but my mind is no longer clouded with thick fog like before.

What makes me even more glad is I don't feel forced am doing this for myself and not my mum. I haven't seen much of Jessica or Amanda which am very grateful for.

I've just concluded my final class and I have to freshen up because justine promised to take me out today. I wonder why she fixes herself up for a loser like you.The memory of justine and I throwing missiles at each other makes me smile. After so much hostility towards him....Look at me now. I'd even trade my best friend for him.
