Malec- Life After [COMPLETED]

The Princess and the Frog

It's been two months now since Alec began Law school and he's always so happy, but sometimes he just needs a break from learning. And that's exactly what today was, they got a couple days off but Alec still had to go to work.

Unfortunately Magnus had to leave really early to get to work on time and Alec was stuck with either calling in sick to work or bringing the twins with him. He decided with the later.

And that's how Alec's morning started by parking his car in front of the coffee shop with car seats in each hand.

He walked in through the backdoor and saw his boss, and she looked more joyful than angry seeing me walk in late, probably because of Matt and Emma.

"Omg Alec they are so adorable, I haven't seen them in months" Alexa his boss said

"Thanks, I hope you don't mind me bringing them with me, last minute and all" Alec said

"No problem, they are always welcome" she said

"What'd you want me to do today then?" Alec asked

"You can just stay in the back today so you can bake and keep an eye on these two at the same time" she said

"Okay great" Alec walked to the kitchen and one thing he liked about it was that the break room was right next to it. So he took the twins out of the car seats and let them play around with toys Alec brought them.

Alec had been working for around 3 hours now, but he still pushed through. In that whole time consisted of making pies, cookies, muffins and he managed to do it all successfully.

He finally got his first break and the first thing he did was make bottles for Matt and Emma, he also fed them each a pot of custard. Their favourites, strawberry for Matt, and banana for Emma.

The 3 were sitting on the sofa in the break room, Matt and Emma drinking their milk and leaning on Alec whilst watching Peppa Pig on Alec's phone. Until the film disappeared and a picture of Magnus showed up saying he was calling.

"Papa!" Matt said excitedly

"Yes, it's Papa" Alec answered the call and put in on face time so Magnus could see them.

"Hi guys" Magnus' voice came through

"Hi Papa" Both Matt and Emma said laying their head back on their dads side while Alec had his arms around them.

"Hey babe" Alec said

"Hey, So how's everything going?" Magnus asked

"Everything's going well so far, no accidents yet" Alec said

"Good, but I feel bad leaving you this morning with them both and having to go to work" Magnus said feeling guilty

"Hey don't worry, it's been fun. Right guys?" Alec asked both of the kids and they both shakes their head yes too tired to speak words.

"Hey, you look beautiful today" Magnus told Alec

"I look like I've been in a snow storm, I'm covered in flour" Alec exclaimed

"I think it looks hot" Magnus said "You should wear this look more often"

"Yeah should I really, I think-" Alec was cut off by a whine

"Papa?" Emma said

"Yes honey" Magnus replied

"Whe-ou-com ome?" Emma asked in a the baby talk most people would not understand except for Alec and Magnus, they both always knew what the twins are trying to say.

"Well, Papa will be home in" we saw Magnus checking his watch "not much longer now Okay, I'll see you soon okay princess. You look after your sister okay baba" that's one of the nicknames Magnus likes calling Matt. But Matt didn't reply his bottle was sticking out his mouth and he was sound asleep. "Never mind then" Alec chuckled

"Hey honey you wanna talk to Papa while I put Matt down to sleep ye" Alec unhooked his arm from Emma and gave her the phone whilst he gently picked up Matt to set him down for his nap.

"So honey what have you been doing today?" Magnus asked

"Pri-essss a fog" Emma squealed, Princess and the frog, 'Pri-essss a fog' as both Emma and Matt say it is their favourite game to play.

They both pretend that Matt is the frog and Emma is the princess, and it's always so cute because Emma always gives her brother a kiss on the cheek, and it's adorable (and I mean you all know where this story goes).

"Wow, you are such a beautiful princess honey" Magnus said

"Thank u" Emma replied

They both talked for quite a while until she began feeling tired and they said their quick goodbyes.

I know this was a terrible chapter, I've got writers block but I felt like I had to write something. I don't know when the next chapter will be up because I can't think of anything to talk about. If you want to see something happen please comment.
