Malec- Life After [COMPLETED]

Alec was in his groom's room getting ready nervously tying his tie

"Here bro let me" Jace said coming over tying his tie for him and putting it in place "There you go"

"Thanks" he said smiling

"You ready for this I mean in a few minutes you guys are gonna be officially married, that's crazy omg"

"I know I can't believe he said yes"

"No you didn't you knew he was gonna say yes" Jace said not believing his brother for one second

"Okay maybe I knew what he was gonna say, still that doesn't make me less nervous" Alec said smoothing out his suit

"Don't be nervous, there's no reason to be. You love Magnus, he loves you, don't worry"

They heard a knock on the door and someone entering

"Hey" Clary walked in in her bridesmaid dress holding her and Jace's 4 month old daughter

"Hi how's my girls doing?" Jace asked walking over to them giving Olivia a kiss on her forehead

"I think we should be asking Alec that since it's his special day" Clary said smiling

"I'm good now" Alec said

"You guys ready" Maryse asked coming in "Oh my you look so handsome" tears threatening to fall

"No mom no crying, we haven't started yet" Alec said walking over to her wiping away her tears

"Well you're my baby boy I'm allowed to have my moment of vulnerability, I love you"

"I love you too"

"You're getting married man let's get this started" Jace patted Alec on the back

Once Alec began walking down the isle all his nervousness was gone, he had his mom by his side and everyone he loved on the other side of the room, and his soon to be husband right in the middle smiling looking right at him.

When they got there Maryse handed Alec off to Magnus giving them both a kiss on the cheek and went to sit down. Everyone was here, Alec's family on the Left and Magnus' on the right.

They took hold of each others hands, Magnus only let go to wipe a tear fallind down Alec's cheek. And the wedding began.

"We are all here today to witness the marriage of Alexander Lightwood and Magnus Bane, now before we start if any of you object to this pair speak up now or forever hold your peace" it was all silent everyone was smiling some already crying

After about 15 minutes it was time for the vows

"Okay so I hear you guys have written your own vows" the priest

"Yes we have" Alec said "Do you want me to go first?"

"Sure" Magnus smiled letting go of Alec's hands for him to take out his paper

"You're my best friend, soulmate, team-mate, the person I trust the most in this world, from now one were in this together. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. Just as I know you'd do the same, you've always been there for me when I've truly needed you. And when Matt and Emm were born you were right there by my side, and you loved them as your own, which you know they always will be. I am so happy that I met you and that we found our way back to one another, I love you so much" they both had tears streaming down their face not being able to control their happiness

"I love you too. From this moment, I take you as my best friend for life, and if there's life after that I'll take you. I pledge to honour, encourage, and support you through our walk together. When our way gets difficult, I promise to stand by you and uplift you, so that through our union we can accomplish more than we could alone. I promise to make you and Matt and Emm my main priority in my life, and with every beat of my heart I will love you, just like I know I always have. I will love you more and more everyday, more each time we add to our family. I am so glad I found you and that we carried on believing in each other and have stocked together over the years. I promise to be by your side whatever your decision, I am always going to support you"

"Thank you" the priest said "now Alexander repeat after me" and that's exactly what he did

"I, Alexander Gideon Lightwood, take you, Magnus Bane, for my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part"

Now it was Magnus' turn

"I, Magnus Bane, take you, Alexander Gideon Lightwood, for my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part"

"Rings please" he said and Matt and Emma came up to give us the rings

"Thank you baby" Alec told them

They slipped the rings onto one another's finger and held hands

"Alec do you take Magnus to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

"And Magnus do you take Alec to your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

"Then its my honour to now pronounce to you Alec and Magnus Lightwood-Bane, you are now husband and husband, you may kiss one another"

Magnus and Alec spent no time and leaping at each other, Alec took hold of Magnus' lapels whilst Magnus held onto Alec's waist. Everyone stood up and cheered, they both smiled into the kiss as they pulled back and walked down the alter.
