Malec- Life After [COMPLETED]

Alec POV
They were able to find someone to take care of the twins, it was actually one of Alec's work friends who stepped up to do it. They had told her everything that she would need and where everything is, and what the twins were and weren't allowed to do. When they're both separated they are okay, but once you put them both together they can't create what seems like world war 3, or for Alec and Magnus world war 87 not that their keeping count.

They had just left the apartment after saying their brief goodbyes and tight hugs, and they were walking down the streets of Brooklyn hand in hand. They both had their coats on and Alec was wearing a scarf that Magnus made for him last Christmas. Magnus had his hair styled with streaks of purple dye at the tips, he had a little less glitter than what he would usually put on, curtesy of Emma Lightwood.

They had now reached the entrance of Hunters Moon and could see Lexi and Kevin through the windows. Magnus pushed the door open with a ding of a bell above them, he held the door open for Alec as they entered. Lexi had spotted them waving them over and they sat on the stools beside them.

"You actually came" Kevin said

"Of course we did, why wouldn't we" Alec said

"No reason" Lexi said looking at Magnus

"You guys want a drink?" The bartender asked

"Can I get a beer please, Magnus?" Alec said

"Same" he replied

They had been there for almost 2 hours and it was now 11:30. They had a few drinks, not too many. They played a few games of pool and darts, which Alec obviously did the best at.

They were now sitting at a table with two completely wasted friends.

"It's-your fault" Lexi said a little drowsy at Alec

"How's it my fault you guys got drunk" Alec said laughing taking a sip of his beer

"Well if-if you weren't beeeeing a show off at poool then we wouldn't have had tooo dink all those shots" Kevin said

Magnus just laughed "You guys made the bet, I even warned you not to. I told you that you wouldn't beat Alec in pool"

"Well we ough you were lying" Lexi said slumping down in her chair "Ugh I'm gonna be so hung over tomorrow" both Magnus and Alec chuckled

Their conversation got interrupted by a phone ringing, Alec checked and saw it was a call from Jace.

'What could he want at this time?' I thought to myself

"It's Jace, give me a second" Alec said walking out to the front and holding his phone up to his ear "Hey what's up?"

"Nothing I just got some news for you" Jace said sounding a little nervous

"Actually we got something to tell you" another voice came through the speaker

"Clary??" Alec said

"Hi Alec" she said

"Are you guys okay, is something wrong?" Alec asked

"No don't worry nothing's wrong" Jace said

"Than what is it 'cause I'm standing out in the cold right now and I might freeze to death, and well then you'd have Magnus to deal with" Alec rambled

"As if Magnus could take me" Jace said

"Oh he could, I mean I was the former football captain and he can take me on if you know what I mean" Alec said

"Uww Alec stop talking, and Jace quiet. Now we called you to tell you something and then you both go rambling on like you always do" Clary said

"Sorry go ahead tell me" Alec said

"Jace you wanna tell him?" The line went quiet and Jace wasn't replying "Jace?" Clary asked again

"Oh I'm sorry I thought I wasn't allowed to speak" Jace said and I can just see him in my mind crossing his arms and slouching down on the couch and Clary just giving him that look that always got him to do what she wanted, too bad it doesn't work on Magnus when I try using at times. And that's obviously what she did because he spoke up "I'm sorry yeah we got some news" he said

"Well tell me" Alec said getting slightly impatient

"Clary's pregnant" Jace half yelled

"OMG that's amazing, how far along are you?" Alec asked

"6 weeks, so it's still really early and you can never know what can happen" Clary said

"Don't worry I won't tell anyone" Alec promised even though he was most likely to tell Magnus as soon as they got home "Does anyone else know?"

"No, only you. Jace wanted to tell you" Clary said

"How long did he last?" Alec said

"Well I've caught him about 50 times trying to secretly call you, but I finally gave in and well now you know" Clary said

"It was nowhere near 50 times" Jace said "If you asked me it would be closer to 100" Alec and Clary laughed

"You know Izzy is going to kill you guys for telling me first and not her" Alec said

"I know, she's gonna take me guilt shopping" Clary sighed

Alec turned around and ended up seeing Magnus trying to swat Lexi's hands away whilst she was playing with his hair and also trying to get Kevin sit down and keep control of him, which obviously was the right thing to do since Kevin was running around like a mad man. The whole scene just make Alec laugh.

"You know I think Magnus needs saving I gotta go" Alec said laughing some more

"Okay we'll let you go, bye" Clary and Jace said

"Bye" was the last thing he said as he entered the bar to help the chaos that was building.
