Dinner with My Family and Friends

As we entered the house, we could hear commotions already.

"Give it back, Uncle Rocky!", Jason yelled to his uncle for snatching his phone.

"Hey Rike, your son has a girlfriend", he laughed, reading the text messages on Jason's phone.

"Hey Fam", I waved. They stopped what they were doing and welcomed me with open arms.

"And you must be, Soda and Diego", Ryland asked. "Yes sir", Sodapop salutes him.

"Well, you are welcome here anytime, Soda. We have plenty of rooms for you to move in. Rachel here told me you need a job and I think we have the perfect one for you", Ryland said and gives his charming smile.

"Thank you sir", Soda hugs him. Chris came forward and hugged Diego. "Hey Chris", He smiled.

"They bust you up again, kiddo?", Chris asked. "Nope, I'm clean", he says proudly.

A figure came forward and it was the woman I fell in love with. "Babe!", she ran and hugged me tight.

I hugged her back and kiss her forehead once we pulled apart. "Hello angel", I gave her a little peck on her lips to make her smile.

I turn to my new friends and smiled at them. "Soda, Diego, this is my girlfriend, Lauren Jauregui. I know she's Taylor's sister but she's nothing like her", I introduce them to her.

"Nice to meet you, Rachel's lady", Sodapop did a curtesy bow and Lauren blushed. "Oh, thank you, Soda", she smiled.

"Alright! Dinner will be ready in 30 minutes, Movie time will be an hour after that. Lauren, would you please do me the honour to tell your parents to join us for dinner. We have plenty of space", Ryland announced.

"Sure, Ryland", Lauren smiled and took her phone out to call her parents.

A few minutes later, Lauren put her phone back and looked at us. "Their coming in 10 minutes time", Lauren annonced and Ryland climbed back down the table.

"My brothers and sisters, please proceed to the living room for a chat. I have some news", Riker shouted and all Lynch's went to the living room as the rest help themselves around the house.

"Yes bro, what's going on?", Ross asked. "No trouble, it's about the R5 Harmony tour this summer. Yeah, Will just called and told me that Simon wants us to be signed in Epic Records and Sony Company. Apperently, our manager had retired so, Will is our new one and Simon wants us in his office on Friday afterschool in New York. We have to be there by 5, got it?", Riker stated and we agreed.

"Okay, another news is for Rachel. Your teachers says that you've been doing well than others and told me about it. Simon heard about it and wanted to hear about your music. Maybe he wants to sign you too, Rach", Riker looked at me in the eye with happiness. The rest congratulated me and I was confused and not sure if I wanted to be signed.

"So? What do you say, kiddo?", Ryland asked. "I don't know, I don't want any drama or anything. I want to be signed into Alantic though with Ryland", I said with a sigh.

"Hey, it's alright if you don't want to be signed. You could continue your subjects but if you do get signed, it'll be a songwritter job if you don't want the spotlight", Riker said and I just nodd.

"I need to think", I said turning away and walking towards Lauren.

Lauren saw me and knowing what I was thinking, she dragged me upstairs and to my room.

She shut the door and locked it so that no one could interupt our conversation. She turns and sat next to me on the bed. I had my head hung low and was thinking really hard.
