The End Of First Love

Two days past and I have never seen Sarah so depressed before. She seems so tired and sad and has this moping face.

She smiles everytime someone asked her if she's okay. I am tired of asking her that so I kept it quiet.

We managed to finish up the album and our album cover shoot. Plus, we've finished recording and shooting our new video for The Start.

Sarah was happy for us but was still sad about the fact that her relationship is falling down.

That night in the bar, she cried into my chest at the bar for a long time. She told me that she didn't want to give up her first love and that was Clarity.

She said she tries to make her happy but Clarity has changed into someone new ever since news broke out that she was dating a superstar. The spotlight changed her because she started to get many applications to many hospitals to be a nurse in many hospitals.

Today is her birthday. Tomorrow we drop the news to our fans and then there will be many interviews which I hope will distract Sarah and won't create more news.

Sarah put out a brave smile and acted to be happy just for her. She was lucky to have her but Clarity changed. I told Lucas and he was furious but told me to let her decide.

Everyone was invited to Clarity's 17th birthday. Her parents came and so did her friends and colleagues. Sarah was beside her the whole time while I set up the stage.

Lauren was busy with the twins and with the help of Lucas and Soda for the stage, Alessia was helping her.

"I still can't believe she loves her", Lucas said, disappointed. "You can't blame her for falling in love for the first time. It's the same with you and Faith, bud", Soda explained and I agreed.

"But still. Clarity is not right for her. Thus fame and fortune got her tide up that she forgot who she was. That's wrong especially when you use my sister for fame", Lucas angrily put down the mic stand.

"Luke, just calm down. I'm sure Sarah knows what she's doing. Like you said, she's smart enough to make a decision and I'm pretty sure she knows what to do", I told him and put a hand in his shoulder.

"You know when you told me that I was drunk, right? Yeah so maybe what I said was dumb. My sister is whipped for Clarity", Lucas fought back.

"Alright buddy, let's get you some drinks so you can cool off. You good on your own, kid?", Sodapop said. "Yeah, I just need to power up the amp and it will be done", I told him and he nods with a cheeky smile that he always had.

I saw Alessia kept on looking at Sarah and Clarity. In her eyes, there was anger and jealousy but it couldn't be because Soda seems fine and Alessia is happy as she says. Maybe she's confused or some sort.

After I'm done with the stage, I told Sarah and she gave me a thumbs up. I sat down beside Lauren and took Ryse on my hand as Lucas and Soda came back with punch.

Sarah helped her girlfriend up the stage to make an announcement and we all clapped.

"Hi everyone! I'm Clarity and this is my girlfriend, Sarah. I hope everyone is enjoying yourselves and I hope the refreshments are good. Let's kick things off with Alessia Cara and her band", Clarity announced and we all cheered and clapped.

Sarah sat behind me and sighed. She was sweating and had a tired expression. I went back and sat next to her.

"You okay?", I nudged her and she smiled. "Never been better, Blues", she answered and I shool my head. "Sarah, I know you're not okay, everyone knows it. I just hope you know what you're doing", I told her and she sighed.
