Sarah's POV

After watching the video last night with Lauren, I could tell she was deeply blaming herself for everything that happened.

I however, am not going to let her do that to myself because she was there the first time Rachel went to the hospital and I blamed myself for pushing her. This is like the same situation.

Moving on, I was the first one to wake up as the doctor and nurses came in too. What surprised me was when Clarity was followed behind the doctor.

"Ah, Ms Hansen. Good morning, How is Rachel so far?", The doctor asked with a smile. I snapped out of my thoughts and replied to the doctor telling him that she seemed normal.

"Well, if there's anything out of the ordinary, you tell nurse Jones, okay?", He told me and I nod. As the doctor left, Clarity and I smiled to each other and there was awkward silence.

"So, how have you been?", Clarity said, filling up the silence. "Good, good. Well, not that good because my best friend is here, lying unconscious and is going to be paralysed but I'm good", I rambled, being nervous.

She starts to giggle and I did too. "H-How about you?", why did I stutter?
"I'm good as well, been transferred here and it looks like I could finish school early and maybe get my degree", she replied with a smile.

"That's great. I'm happy for you", I chuckled anxiously. The silence filled the room once more as we stared at each other. "Listen, well, umm.. I'm going to go and check on others. Its nice seeing you, Sarah and I'm happy for you and Alessia", she smile genuinely and started to walk towards the door.

But before she could leave, she turned back to face me. "And thanks for the apartment as my birthday present. I never got the chance to thank you. Goodbye, for now", she smiled once last time and left the room, closing the door behind her.

"Well wasn't that something?", I heard a voice behind me. It was Alessia. I turned to her and she had her arms crossed but that didn't stop me from laughing.

"Why are you laughing?", she's so cute. "You're adorable bedhead, plus jealousy in your eyes", I told her as I moved closer to her side. She hits my shoulder and I dramatically yelp.

She starts to get worried and kisses my shoulders while saying lots of Sorrys. "I'm fine, it didn't hurt. I was just joking, love", I kissed her cheeks and she started to blush which was adorable. There was silence between us before she said something.

"Do you still have feelings for her?", she suddenly asked. I didn't know how to reply so I kept quiet. "Tell me honestly. I promise I won't leave", she added.

I huffed and sighed, giving in with a nod. "I do but I like you, a lot. I swear", I answered nervously but she giggled at me. "What?", I questioned, tilting my head a little.

"It's okay, Sarah. I know you still have feelings for Clarity and that's okay. I like you too and I understand you need time to get over her but that doesn't mean I have to leave you. I promised you to be your anchor, remember?", I nod. "Then, I'm not leaving you", she took my hands and intertwined it with hers.

"What did I do to deserve you, Alessy?", I asked and she just smiled at me. "I came out for you and you know somewhere in your heart that you care for me too. No matter what stupid things we might do to each other, I'm still going to come back to you. This might be too early to say it but I love you Sarah and I mean it this time", she confessed and to be honest, my heart skipped a beat.

"I-I", I breathed out and the next thing you know, she latched her lips with mine. It was so soft and our lips immediately moved in sync as we kissed.
