Chapter 42

"Welcome back!"

As soon as Taehyung arrived back to Seoul, he hurriedly went to their dorm, only to be greeted by the other members. He didn't hesitate to pull them into a tight hug before telling them that he had fun spending all the time with you.

"Don't worry," Jimin patted his back and smiled. "You'll get over her soon and find someone you truly deserve," He hugged Taehyung and ruffled his hair. "Did you buy me a present?"

Taehyung smiled back, "Thanks Jimin. And yes, I actually bought something for all of you," As soon as those words came out of his mouth, other members started to ambush his luggage, he didn't care though. Just then, he noticed that Jungkook wasn't there, so he excused himself and headed towards the maknae's room with all the other members destroying his bag.

He knocked three times before turning the door knob, seeing Jungkook writing something. The younger one didn't notice that someone entered his room, that's why he kept on writing words on paper.

Taehyung approached him and held his shoulders, "Writing something for y/n?" He smiled.

Jungkook flinched for a second before turning around to see Taehyung's smile. The maknae smiled back and hugged Taehyung before asking him questions.

"Welcome back," Jungkook told him. "How are you?"

"Emotionally torn," Taehyung replied with a weak smile on his face. "But I also feel better now, thanks for asking."

Jungkook looked down on his feet before bowing slowly to Taehyung, "I'm sorry hyung. I'm really sorry for everything I've done to you. I promise you that I didn't really mean to do all of these an-"

"Past is past," Taehyung replied back. "You love her, and she loves you back. There's nothing to be sorry about, Jungkook."

"But I hurt you, hyung. I don't want to be the reason why you're sad."

"Don't worry, this will eventually go away. You know that I can't stay sad forever. Our fans would notice and they'll start worrying about me, I don't want that to happen," Taehyung responded.

Jungkook nodded, "Thank you for being such a nice person. I hope everyone can be like you, hyung."

The elder laughed, "No, if they become like me, they'll be brokenhearted forever. So no, don't be like Taehyung," He joked around for about a few seconds before remembering something important that he has to do. "Where's our manager? Bang pd should kick him out of this company."

"Oh, I think he went i-"

"Jungkook, we need to go to the studio now. Your lines aren't sorted out that well," Speaking of the devil. Their manager suddenly barged inside Jungkook's room without any warning, this caused Taehyung's blood to boil and Jungkook being scared.

Jungkook hid the letter he was making behind his back. He was frightened that their manager might tear it apart again.

"No no, you're not taking Jungkook to the studio," Taehyung stood in front of the guy. "You're fired, get out of this building."

The guy raised one of his eyebrows, "What are you saying, Taehyung?"

"I'm saying this on behalf of Bang pd nim," Taehyung gritted his teeth and clenched his fist before continuing. "I've talked to him and I told him everything you did to Jungkook. Locking him inside his room? Abusing him? Hurting him? You have no right to do that. So get out, before I call the police."

The guy inhaled deeply before turning around to leave, "All of you will regret this," The guy saw the other boys about to enter Jungkook's room. When the others saw him, they just rolled their eyes and ignored him.

"What was he doing here?" Namjoon asked. "He looked pissed off."

"I fired him," Taehyung smiled.

"But only Bang pd could do that, right?" Jin questioned him.

"I told him that I've asked Bang pd nim, but in reality, I actually haven't talked to him yet," Taehyung let out a laugh. "Don't worry though, I'll be sure to tell it to him today."

"Good, I don't like him either," Yoongi spoke.

"Why, hyung?" Taehyung asked.

"He takes away my Kumamon plushies."
