Cassie's POV

It's been a month since I've seen Jason, from the day he dropped me off I made sure I've blocked his number and avoided bumping in to him especially when I'm at the bus stop.

Chloe has been a very good friend although she was still with Shaun she never shoved it in my face, I really appreciated that.

I've kept really busy for the past month, I focused more on my school work and cheer practice.

Even my mom and I we are a bit closer than before which I'm really enjoying.

So tonight the cheer team is going out. Every second Friday of the month we go out to celebrate what "Brittany" calls a Cheer Time Out! Which I don't get but still I can't miss, she's still captain.

I get ready its about 6pm already and Chloe is picking me up at 7 so I quickly put on my black off shoulder summer short black dress as you might have noticed black is my favorite colour.

Leaving my hair loose and uncombed, after putting on my gold sandals I grab my bag making sure my phone and money is there.

I go downstairs to wait for Chloe just as I'm about to message her I'm done she texts first saying I must come outside.

We ride to the Chill & Grill in town it looks like a bar but its more of a chill spot kind of place.

We meet the other girls there we get the tables at the back of the room, we order drinks non alcoholic obviously and we indulge in our favourite meals.

Just when we are having fun I notice Chloe on her phone and she looks towards the door just as several guys come in and find their seats on the tables nearer to the door and I notice it's Shaun and the guys thankfully Jason isn't there, I can't see him tonight no way I'm not ready.

I can see Chloe isn't here anymore, she might be here by being seated with us but her mind is where Shaun is.

"Don't worry about me tonight, I'll catch a taxi." I say trying to put her at ease

"No I'll take you back Cass" she says

"I'm serious I'll be fine, you stay here and enjoy besides your man is here" I tell her and she smiles gosh I knew it! she's going home with him

"Cass are you sure because I can..." I cut her off

"A hundred per cent sure, I'll text you when I get home. Besides the taxis are parked outside" I give her money for my meal and drink she also stands hand the money to Kayla who was collecting.

"I'll take you to the taxi, its the least I can do" fine I say grabbing her arm and saying our goodbyes.

As we pass Shaun's table he grabs her by the arm and she falls on to his lap just like that I'm left alone

"Cass wait..." She yells while giggling from the kisses she's getting from Shaun

"Relax, I'll be fine. Umh I'll text you when I get home" I said to her and left to go find a taxi, the moment I step out it's chilly outside now and I'm in this skimpy black dress, my hair is also blowing I try to walk faster to where the taxis are and I feel him without seeing him so I walk faster without looking back.

"Cassie, Cassie wait!" He calls from behind me
