The past two weeks goes by in a flash, been working and fighting my light head sickness that's been a part of me for the past month or so.
It's Friday we celebrating my birthday today and although I'm feeling a bit weak but this I'll have to do for my friend, and me of course. I do need it, I've been all work no fun lately its time I loosened up like mom would say.
I take a taxi home from work to freshen up. My phone rings as I enter my house Chloe is calling.
"I'm still coming, don't worry Chloe" I say playfully as I press the answer key
"I know, because if you weren't I would have dragged you out of that house I swear. Anyways the reason I'm calling is I'm on my way to your house now, the sooner we get to club FOCUS the better so hurry up!" She says
"What, why I just got home? Chloe! "
"Meaning hurry the fuck up girlfriend and bye see you soon"
She hung up...
I run upstairs get in the shower I'm out in no time, I lotion my body, dry my hair and leave it down, throw on a peach maxi dress that's see through in certain areas I love this dress it brings out the woman in me and put on my sandals.
I grab my phone and bag, I put on lip gloss and a bit of mascara.
I go downstairs as hear a car pull up outside and I head out my friend is waiting for me and says "happy birthday Cass" she hands me a wrapped up small black box. I thank her and give her a hug then get in and we go, with hope to have a bit of fun.
Opening my gift its a beautiful gold wrist band with the first letters of our names and forever written on it.
"Oh my gosh, its lovely I love it. Do you mind if I put it on?"
"It would be my pleasure, besides I had it made for you so please wear it"
I put it on as we pull outside club Focus one of the lit places in town I swear, it was still early that there was no queue outside.
We find seats and Chloe orders Two GummyBerry juices.
The club fills up pretty fast and the drinks keep coming I'm starting to feel the heat of alcohol now. From cocktails to shots we drank your Tequila's, Burning Lamborghini's, Margaritas it was LIT.
"I'm fine thanks now" I say as Chloe rocks up with Two Pina Colada's
"Okay one more, I promise I'll stop spoiling you"
"Fine, no more after this, please." I say feeling a bit dizzy I guess its because I haven't ate since lunch but I ignore it.
"Yay...after this we dance" Chloe says looking at the dance floor where its full to the max.
"Oh no no no, I can't and I'm not going to. I'm too tipsy to even walk straight just imagine me on the dance floor, what a joke Never!"
"Party pooper!" Chloe shouts
From behind comes Shaun and gives Chloe a hug from the back.
"Hey babe, Cass!" Shaun greets
"Hey" I say
My mood just went from high to low, I don't have anything against Shaun but I know Jason is most definitely here too and he's probably the last person I want to see right now, well ever.
Some of the guys and girls I've seen at Shaun's house come and join us and start singing the happy birthday song to me it was so sweet I became emotional and I had to blink back tears.
"Thank you guys, so much. You have no idea how much this means right now." I say standing up to hug them one by one
"You're welcome" they all say in unison
