I walk through the halls keeping my head down. I was really quiet and I only have one friend. I liked being by myself I was always happiest that way, but being with my best friend made me happier

She usually comes late to school so for right now I'm by myself and I go to my locker putting my books away and grabbing what I needed as I closed my locker the most popular guy in school Zion was standing there as I slightly jumped

"Are you Alright Y/n?"He said grabbing me pulling me close as I giggled nervously pulling away from him

"I'm fine"I said smiling

"That's good I was wondering if you'd want to go out this Friday, I think you're really beautiful and I'd love to show you a good time"He said smiling with his hands in his pocket

I was nervous but excited I've never been asked out on a date before

"Y-Yeah sure I'd love to"I said smiling

"Great I'll pick you up at 8"He said smiling

"W-Wait you know where I live?"

"I only live a couple houses down from you"He said grinning as I felt my cheeks warm up feeling nervous

Before I was able to say anything the bell rang as we went to class as my best friend Alicia came in and sat down next to me

"Sorry I'm late bestie traffic from the mall to school"She said as I smiled and shook My Head

"Ooh what happened with you you're smiling hard as hell"she said giggling nudging me

"I'll tell you at lunch"I said smiling as she groaned

-Lunch-

She dragged me to lunch as we got our lunch and sat down

"Ok now get me hip what happened"She said throwing her braids over her shoulder

"So you know Zion? Well he asked me out this Friday on a date"I said smiling as her smile slightly faded

"Oh really?.."She said slightly changing

"What is it?"I said confused

"Um something seems bad about this I don't think you should go cause I swear I'm not being mean or rude but he has a different type which is likes hoes and stuff you're quiet and innocent"She said as I raised my eyebrow

"So you're saying I'd have to be a hoe to be with him? Wow how jealous could you be"I said irritated

"No! And Jealous of what?"She said

"How I could get him and you couldn't"I said

"You know what I don't give a damn go ahead I'm just trying to look out for you"She said and walked off as I rolled my eyes

-Friday-

I waited for Zion as he took me out for an amazing night a movie, dinner and now we're in the park walking around smiling as we stopped

"You're So beautiful do you mind if I kissed you"He said as I smiled lightly shaking my head as he closed his eyes coming in as I closed mine doing the same

Next thing I knew I was covered in water as the football team and cheerleaders were all laughing at me and even Zion

I took off running as I ran to Alicia's house
