I sigh as I pick myself up from the floor after Edwin came back home from one of his drunk fits again as I had blood dripping from the side of my head as I sighed and I heard crying.

"Get that fucking baby and shut it up!"He yelled

I quickly dusted myself off as I went upstairs and picked up our 3 month old son Jaiden as I held him rocking him as the tears slowly flowed down my cheek as I noticed he just looked at me

He kept trying to reach his hand out to touch my face as he touched my cheek and smiled as I sat him down back in his bed

"Drink your milk mommy will be right back"I said giving him his bottle as he drank away

I went into his bathroom as I sighed and grabbed the first aid kit we had and patched up the side of my head as I held onto the sink

I looked in the mirror as I looked at all the bruises on my face and the scratches to go along with them

"He loves me right?"I whispered to myself as I shook my head

"This isn't love this is torture, He's a monster I can't stand any of this I shouldn't be treated like this at all. We shouldn't be treated like this.."I whispered to myself

"We gotta get away from him"I whispered

I came out the bathroom as I seen Jaiden went back to sleep

I quietly start packing him a diaper bag and things like that as I hide it in his closet along with a bag I already had with some of my clothes inside

I gently closed his door and locked it as I called Nick

"Hey what's up Y/n"He said sounding happy

"Can you please come get us I've had enough of Edwin and this situation I can't take it anymore"I whispered

"I'm right around the corner I'll be there in a few minutes be at the door ready if your not out in 5 seconds I'm coming in"He said

"Thank you"I whispered

"It's nothing"He said and I hung up

I hung up as I unlocked the door and I heard a message come from my phone as I turned to get it and look at it seeing it was nick as I called him

I get the phone slapped out my hand as I turn around Edwin puts his hand around my throat

"So you wanna leave me bitch!"He yelled and kicked the phone in the hall as he slapped me hard

"Edwin stop"I screamed in pain as the tears started rushing down as Jaiden started waking up

I had to get Edwin out the room. I pushed him and ran in the hall as he grabbed me slamming me into the wall as I whined out

"If I can't have you no one can"He said as he started choking me as I kept trying to get his hands off as he held my throat tighter as my arms started going weak

After that my vision went blurry, I woke up as I seen I was in a bed and I was laying my head on someone as I looked up and seen it was nick as he looked down at me

"You're alright"He said

"Thank you"I whispered holding him tightly as tears of joy started falling

I was finally away from that monster. We were safe and I didn't have to make myself believe it.
